Perhaps instead of a Board game a card game would be better. Are you familiar with Munchkin? In Munckin you have a character and the cards you draw impact that character.
So in the case of a Rimworld Card Game; Your colony would be the character and cards you draw would impact the colony.

I have eaten without a table and it has not bothered me. What would bother me is if I had to eat without a place to sit down.
I think that the debuff is just named poorly. Perhaps it should be renamed to "Had to eat standing up".

Also in the picture it looks like trees are blocking your turbines lowering production. Click on them and they will tell you if they are blocked.

These options already exist. You just have to have the self control not to turn them on.
There are no problems with these features. It is like a game of Solitaire. You can either play by the rules or you can search the deck until you find the card you need. In the end it doesn't really matter how you chose to play.

If you watch the update blog video you will see that after his caravan is attacked Tynan has them rest a bit to heal up before having them move back on. He also mentioned that he should have had the caravan bring some medicine with them.
