Help / Re: Playing sounds via a timer

Looks like I need to use ThingComp somehow?

Perhaps I can run some code on each tick of a tree? Doing that for every tree seems excessive though. Is there a way to run a global timer?

Help / Playing sounds via a timer
November 30, 2020, 11:24:31 AM
Hi, I'd like to write a mod that randomly chooses a tree on the map and plays a bird chirp.

Can anyone give me advice about how I should approach this? E.g. an existing mod that does something similar or some links that could help me out?

Thanks!

I've noticed this too. I'm playing on an ice sheet map. The pawn had hypothermia before it happened, I think.

Here's a few screenshots to show restrictions/work priorities and then the results of ordering them to build something, in chronological order:

I've attached a save file as well, which seems to reproduce it. Just get him to build a wall and then he'll say "fuck it" and start wandering around (or hauling if there is something to haul). Really annoying.

Hi.

I've finished off my alpha 15 playlist in order to start an alpha 16 series:

Hello.

I've started recording my (vanilla) RimWorld sessions 'cause it's fun. Australian English-speaking with no gimmicky crap; just talking as I play.

Here's my first series (alpha 15):

I have an alpha 16 series coming up, with tonnes of episodes already recorded.. just limited by my upload speed. :)

Cheers.
