Could implement it as a new Pawn class with a container for the driver. Make its faction match the driver, add a special ThinkTree that only activates if the container is filled. Raiders spawn with pre-filled vehicles, colonists enter via float menu option. Implement custom TakeDamage method to allow damage to the crew capsule to propagate to the driver. If you want to get fancy you could make multi-crewed vehicles by locking ThinkNodes/stats to passenger number. So you could have e.g. a tank with a driver (unlocks move commands), gunner (unlocks shooting) and commander (boosts stats).




Great Idea! I looked again for an Alpha 16 mod, nothing.

I was browsing through the released mod section, and I realized that there are no vehicle mods.
I personally do not know how to mod, but is there someone out there that can?
I mean, we have chem fuel.
Let me know if this concept is possible right now.
Also let me know if you found a vehicle mod.

It would be nice to have rivers and lakes not only on the playable map, but on the world map as well.
You could use the bodies of water to transport up and down them using boats.
Oceans should also be able to be traveled across.

I have two colonies next to each other in the world,
BUT, In one place it is a  blizzard, and in the other it's 50°F!
It would be nice to have weather effect large parts of the world.

I agree on your thought.
The map,yet massive, does feel small.
For some players i'm sure that 30% is still to big and they want a small globe with the 30%

I think that when you hunt, you shouldn't have to shoot the animal 5 times in the leg, one shot to heart/lungs will do.
Maybe by decreasing spawn rates and needing to track the animals will balance this out.
Needing to go to different hexagons/areas around you to hunt does make sense.
Adding another type of form caravan feature like, form hunting group, could make hunting more challenging.
Needing to travel, and track, and learn the behaviors of the animals would be difficult, so I think to balance that out,
you would get either more meat, or, be able to cook 1 piece of meat and have that equal a meal, but not be a meal and be "Cooked venison" or something.

The small table is still too big for some needs.
If i want a small table in a bedroom, it takes up half the room.
A small end table the size of one cell would be amazing.

I wished people didn't get such a bad mood for sharing bedrooms.
Kids across the world share bedrooms and don't go berserk and kill their entire family.
I just want the decrease to be very low like -1, or no existent.

I think there should be a feature that includes stairs and more levels to structures.
Possibly basements.
I know that designing it would be tough with all the physics that the universe provides, but
I think it would be worth it.

I know it's not the friendliest way to catch fish, but I believe it would be
a very effective way to catch fish, that is if they're added.
