General Discussion / Re: No one buying my stuff
February 17, 2017, 04:35:58 PM
Exotic Goods Traders don't even by my Art. I have sold Art and Furniture a Plenty in A15. Build a Few Cheap Wooden Beds, a Few Small Wood/Stone Sculptures and I was raking in the Silver.
They should buy the Burn Barrels if they were never used, right? Wash Buckets should be able to be sold. Handy Wipes also.

Not withstanding the "Joy/Latrine" Items... I was able to sell Practically Everything and Anything in A15. If I didn't have anything to sell, I'd tame a Few Boom Rats and Booalopes, sell them, Retame them, Sell them Back several times until they ran out of Silver. Or I'd Tame their beasts and all their stuff was now Mine, then sell them back the stuff I didn't want.

Now, Anything I can't sell, I use Developers Tool and Destroy them, just to get them out of my Inventory.

Ideas / More Joy Items and Other Ideas

We Need More Joy Items. Darts, Pinball, Arcade Machine, Swimming Pool with Diving Board, Hot Tubes, Saunas, Dance Floor, Solitaire/Card Games and so much more. My Colonists get Major Joy Deprived even with 5hrs of Joy through out the day.

Rooms are Assigned to the Names set to the Beds in them and No One else can go in them. Sure I could set up a whole bunch of Zones for each Colonist but that is time consuming. I want to Put Bathrooms inside the Bedrooms or Make Small Houses with a Kitchen, Bath, Living Room and Bed Room BUT I do Not want other Colonists going in them, using them as if they were open to everyone to use. Also do not want Colonist Washing Other Colonists and Waking them up to do so.

What about Children? After a Couple has had so many "Got some Lov'n", they should have Children. So we would need Nurseries and everything that goes in them.

Stop Colonists from using Visitors Bathrooms, even if they are the closest. That's what I built a Bath House for. Again, I could set up a Zone but then they would not be able to Repair and Replant as needed. Also not have them enter the individual rooms just to replant the pot or do a repair. Let them wait till the Visitors Leave.

Nudists... Make them Smart enough Not to wear Parka's in the Heat of Summer and Only in the Chill of Winter. I mean Come On. I Know they are Nudists but you Have to Assign them Something in the Winter so they don't freeze. I want to "Set it and Forget it", as a wise man once said. Make the Colonist Smart enough in General to go Eat when they are Starving and Rest when Exhausted. I have Rest set as Priority 1and everything else set to 2 or lower and they Still Get Exhausted. Caravans are the Worst for this. They are More Concerned getting the Caravan Packed and Ready to go, than they do their Bodily Needs.

After Setting up a Caravan, let us pick Any Place we want to go and Not just another Settlement or Campsite. Let Us Move to a whole New section to Resettle once we have Mined all the Resources from our plot of land. Even if it's just 1 grid section over.

Sure they will by Supplies, Food, Resources/Raw Material and the like but they won't buy Art, Extra Furniture and the like. Sometimes they won't even buy textiles from me, even tho they are a Textile Trader or Bulk Goods Dealer. I Made over 100 Small Stone Statues and No One would buy them. No One is buying Burn Barrels, Wash Buckets, Camp Stoves, Extra Light Fixtures. Hell, they won't even buy Extra Batteries.

Also, How do you take down a Tent in One Piece instead of Piece by Piece? Seems like a Pain in the rump that you can put it up but not take it down later to sell it.

Just DL'ed the game. Opened the Mods Folder. Came here and DL'ed this Mod. Unpacked it in the Mods Folder. Started the Game. Error Window Opened. Turned it Off. Opened Mods Menu. Everything is Red but Core. What did I do wrong?
