Just hear me out here:
-An extra large map where people can build their colonies
-Raiding other people
-Factions can be multiple colonies
-Maybe 4 players per map?
-A game mode where colonist players defend against pirate players
-The home zone can also be Someone's territory, where other players can't build on
-People in Factions can trade with each other
-Factions can vote a leader who can handle trades and relationships with other factions
