Ideas / Multiple timelines

Is there a possibility to make separate timelines for multiple settlements, and world itself.

Now this would definitely break the game properly, but then again, somebody said multiplayer was impossible a few years back, and now its fully working. The only issue is time.

In other words, how badly do you have to strip the core to make this possible, and how much to you have to remake to make it work?

Game crashing every about half an hour after a17 official update, also, autosaves and saves made in a17 wont load, the mods are the same and after the game crashes i cant load the latest or any other autosave.
I would guess this may be caused by one of the mods, but u gotta help me find out which one, cant spend half an hour on each mod to test.
If i save and quit - saves load most of the time, but after the crash none of the saves can be loaded.
Sometimes i restart my PC and after that saves can be loaded for some reason.
Haven't encountered this problem in previous versions.
There is no error message on crash, just desktop.
There is no specific action that leads to a game crash, you might be doing nothing, selecting an item or fighting a raid, so it's highly random.
Please tell me what logs do you need to resolve this issue.

This time the caravan was a bit buggy, but before that there were no noticeable graphical bugs prior to crash.

A16 was a huge update to this wonderful game, and i really like where this game is going, but i am certain that caravaning and trade are a bit dry at the moment.
Micro management is almost completely set up in this game, and due to mods its expandable to almost any extent. Why not add some more macro management to this game, that would make late game more interesting.

-being able to set up automated(except for combat) trade caravans that would take items to trade from the allowed pool, rest and replenish supplies on their own(not venture and die), they might know what other settlements need when they visit a settlement of this faction, bringing back money or goods from the desired list in exchange.
-Politics and diversified diplomacy, bribery, propaganda, regimes and other possible interactions of factions themselves(so if i capture a leader or some kind of officer of a faction, they immediately stop caring about him)
-Rimworld is a no mans land, but whats stopping a colony from proclaiming some part of the planet their own and writing their name on this piece of map? Settlements and factions are scattered randomly(how do ppl decide they belong to this faction or the other?), why not have some order in their location.
-Those escape pods keep just keep coming, and what of the home world? space ships come to trade, there must be something going on in the civilized world, whatever it is, it has absolutely no impact on this isolated planet, and why not?

Would love to see you using any suggestions in game, even partly.

Oh and 1 more thing, there absolutely must be a mod or something for mental break:surrender, not every 14 year old girl is a a fearsome centurion rushing into battle with 10 armed men with her bare hands. If running will get you massacred, it is only wise you get captured, but remain alive.
