I'm having the rainbow screen problem as well. I think it's related to the droids or the droid building areas. I was able to load and earlier save which did not have these thing built and it worked well, but anything after building the droid was gone.
Great mod though, love the turret variety and working droids would make it perfect

I had the same problem, you can fix it yourself easily. Evul posted the solution a while back on this thread.
Open the ThingDefs in the Lindari Corp mod folder and edit the following lines in all guns. . .

- <interactSound> changed to <soundInteract>
- <purchasable> changed to <tradersCarry>
- <damageType> changed to <damageDef>

After that test on a squirrel and you should be good to go.

Works well now. More balanced than the iron weed mod.

When I research the tech I cant seem to build the quarry. Does it work with the latest update or is it incompatible with other mods?
