Bugs / [1.0] Animals tab causes errors
June 21, 2018, 10:18:33 AM
So when I click on the animals tab at the bottom of the screen I do not get to see the animals dialog box, where I could select training for the animals. Instead I see a little rectangle in the bottom left <--- corner of the screen, that looks either like an extremely small window that doesnt fit anything or the whole thing has been dragged off the corner of my screen somehow. This only happens on my current colony, I start a new one and it does not happen.

You know how it just automatically and instantly forms a caravan with the prisoners and stuff after you destroy an outpost? Maybe they should just make caravans work like that all the time. Yes it might be abuseable but you could probably just give a situation like GTFOing from pirate raids instantly where you'd have to do caravans the normal way instead of instant. At least until they fix it so there arent all these hassels.

I'm assuming fixing this will be a big chunk of 1.0

I heard somebody else say on reddit that animals eat drugs when they are hungry and simply do it because its the closest food to them, and they venture a little bit out of exclusion zones if starving. They recommended place your drugs in such a way you would have to go through your freezer and then the hungry animals would simply eat the easier to reach food instead. Which may not be ideal either but if you have a surplus of food its not as bad as losing one of your last 3 luciferium thats keeping your level 20 reasearcher going.... It'd be nice if we could get high shelves or lockable shelves to keep the animals out.

Dune would be cool. Make a little Fremen colony and fight off the Harkonen....

Spice addiction, stillsuits and every gets personal shields!

Arguably don't we already have some of these in game already? Normal pawns but the clues are in their backgrounds they aren't pure humans.

We have vatgrown soldiers and I think I saw a 'super soldier' once. Plus I did have a vatgrown sexslave pawn and genetically engineered prostitute in the same colony once.
