if a release (whatever may be in it) is going to break mod compatibility, please make sure the workshop and the in-game version checker will highlight/reject mods that haven't been updated. The easiest way of doing that is just calling it A17.

i'll agree with this.

General Discussion / Re: Mortars: Useful or not?
January 25, 2017, 10:14:02 PM
I use mortars as anti-siege defense but the accuracy are pretty bad (tend to use incendiary rounds to hopefully get fire near them). while the raiders don't need accuracy too much since the colony tend to be a huge target while there camp is a much smaller, harder to hit target.

but then again, i usually only use 2-3 mortars so maybe i need a few more

Maybe an option for people on cleaning duty to clean only indoors or maybe like a Cleaning zone.

I Laughed at this part "2452-Mass bombing across the globe occurs, only smart and strong survive." and then world peace.

I either have only 1 hunter or only designate 1 target at a time, or just make them all melee with the best armor / swords if possible

It's simple: It says that that kibble requires one nutrition worth of veggies, and one nutrition worth of meat. Since one unit of raw food has 0.05 nutrition, so you need 20 of each to reach the required 1 nutrition. It's done this way because eggs are more nutritious, and so you wouldn't use as many of them in the recipe. (if I remember right, each egg has 0.25 nutrition, so you'd only use 4 of them instead of 20).

I agree that it's very confusing, though, it could really use an improvement.

(By the way, kibble has 0.05 nutrition too, so you effectively gain 20% extra food by cooking it)
Oh alright, I see now. I didn't think/realized about the nutrition info, was assuming unit amounts

Ideas / Kibble requirements
April 16, 2016, 02:36:33 PM
It says the kibble requires 1x (meat) and 1x (veg) of ingredients so i was confused of why i couldn't make any. Then I noticed one of them hauling 50x (i think i saw) of each to make the kibble which makes 50 kibble.

its definitely adware that got into your system when you downloaded a program off a bad site. try to use Malwarebytes to remove it if you haven't already.

I wonder where plasteel comes in at. I always construct walls and turrets out of it when I get the chance since it has so much of a higher hit point value.

Probably 0 I'd guess.

I never build plasteel walls, but should have known somebody would ask;

so plasteel wall segments have a value of ~136.30

But when you have an op mod that makes plasteel from like a mining hole... Got to use it :D lol but I prefer marble walls since they have 0℅ flamibilty

well... time to make walls out of gold now...

also noticed when a miner is trying to mine far away (I have it set on the largest size map) they will get half way then change what there doing. appears there's a timeout like function that's doing it, which is cool but also annoying at times lol and so since I noticed that, rather than eating, I can avoid it by giving their job the first 1, instead of having it on warden + doctor since I always have prisoners
