Help / Re: How to Weapon Size
March 07, 2021, 11:51:09 PM
It's for 0.18, hm-m...
- looks into files -
Basically, from what I can see, it's pure coding and it adds... erm... sort of another layer of scaling to enlarge all of the weapons which is not exactly what I'm looking for and would mess up everything else.
Though, if it can be applied to individual weapons and someone knows how to do it, I'd be really thankful.
Like, not "read this rabbithole article about advanced nuclear engineering" but something more specific :3

Help / How to Weapon Size
March 07, 2021, 06:03:39 PM

Howdy.
I began to fiddling with item creation yesterday, starting with weapons and decided to make a simple-ish twohanded sword.
Naturally, it looks like a butter knife if drawn horizontally and almost onehand-worthy if drawn diagonally.
All I've found seem to point towards either Faction Colors, which adds a bunch of unnecessary items or JecsTools, which is on unofficial life-support.
Can somebody bite Tynan in the butt and ask him to add weapon scaling into basic functionality?
Are there any magic lines for XML file to change equipped weapon size?
Or any simple ways to make it work without dependencies?

How it looks <> What I want

Ah yes... the famous "One Wrong Letter".
New link is up, now it should be fine.
Thanks for the tip.

Ahem-ahem... well... it is time for a little change, I guess.
I somewhat updated main folder and made variant for end-game to fill-in the gaps in armor.
Then got a bit carried away and redrew T-5 into dummy-thicc death machine it was meant to be.
Tested it during my 15 year crusade during which I gathered several T-5's and hundreds of humans.
Probably works just fine but feedback is always welcome.

Lets hope it'll work for everybody else then.
Thank you very much, yup.

New link for 1.1 is up!

Oof... well, then I'll look into that a little bit later because I don't really know what it wants from me.
I mean, there's <supportedVersions><li>1.1</li></supportedVersions> already in there.
Probably completely wrong or just written not in the right phase of the moon.
Thanks for confirmations though, yup.

Meanwhile, if some hero wants to solve the secret of the missing line... cough-cough...

And a steam version.
And github downloads.
And a lot of other goodies.
And maybe I will... but not now.
It is easier for me that way for now.

It looks like debug window proposes to change supported version to 1.0... for a mod for version 1.1 which does not make any sense.
If you're using Rimworld 1.1 and it just doesn't work - try this one instead and poke me if it works, would appreciate it.
If you're using Rimworld 1.0 - download the one for 1.0 and everything should work just fine.

Not anymore. Now average females have belly buttons too...
Just slap new version on top of the old one.

About:
[Naked Softness] - Replaces human body textures and only that, that's about it. Simple and not overloaded with details.
[Naked Softness +] - Replaces human body textures with leotard-like thing that feels like you're wearing nothing at all!
[Thicc-5] - Replaces Tier-5's body and head textures. Smoother outline, coherent structure, friendlier eyes and stuff.
Everything should work just fine, even though I still have paws and didn't learnt to code.

? ? ?
Mythical T-5 Android in the natural habitat, looking for a human neck to snap.
You still need Android Tiers and everything in between.
It is literally only replacement textures after all.

Help:
- Download Mod.
- Unzip Mod.
- Find "Rimworld" folder.
- Find "Mods" folder inside.
- Put Mod into "Mods"/Read Readme for details.
- Activate it in your in-game mod menu and drag it down.
- Have a good day.

I mean, if you're gonna include those things into you modpack - poke me or something.

Sidenote:
I've been using Chicken Pluckers body textures for ages and you should probably check them out as well. Similar look, different feel.
I don't know who to credit for Android Tiers, so I'll blame everything on some random kiwi I found in Wilhelm's atlas.
Big thanks to Benniii for his helpful comment.
And Mosser as well, yup.
