Got it figured out I guess, managed to make this same weapon design work in game, but thanks for the tip. Very new to making art to be used in games.

Hello everyone one, I'm new to the modding stuff for Rimworld, managed to create a custom weapon already, made a bunch of tests and is working. Thing is, I'm trying to add custom texture to the weapon, I've created then using Illustrator, on a 1024x1024 size. But In game they look awful. Idk what happens, I feel the game downscale the image and everything gets kinda strange. I've attached the gun texture I created to the post. Someone with can experience and patience can help me with this stage?
