Eh, inspired of 3 guys I created with a random name generator. If you want to see more, just let me know ;)


I was so close. Just one more step forward and I would of been there. Life is like climbing a ladder, you may go up but the moment you slip up you fall all the way down. Most know me as A, but my real name is Lucifer. I am ashamed of my name, everyone I knew called me Satan, not because of my name, but because of the actions I had to of lived for my entire life. When I was 5 in the Glitterworld mines, my father, the one who left me and didn't want to call me Lucifer, legs were blown off and his sight blinded. After that, he was sent to court and was put to death because of his lack of the ability to work. That is just the things we have to deal with while I was at Glitterworld Industries. Men and women being slaughtered because of broken limbs and ruined sight. They claim that they cannot afford the costs to keep them alive. Ever since that, I had a low moral. Sobbing on the way to the mines each time the Sun rises. The Glitterworld Industries were soon shutdown due to to many complaints and maybe a few rebellions led by the one and only. I was on the way to be transported to the next industry but this time to work in a paid job with clean water instead of the sludge they served there. It was only a short journey so we did not have to be put into cryosleep status. It was only a few days, the last crash was when it took 480 light years, yet it happened. The alarms blazed like a fire burning out of control, or a methane explosion in the mines. We were crashing. 'We', oh I remembered 'we'. It was me, Sarah and Thomas. We didn't talk much, we said hello and that was pretty much it. It was only when we were crashing we begin to talk. The escape pods thankfully opened after 5 terrifying minutes of dropping to the nearest planet knowing it may explode any second. Entering the escape pods was like knowing you were going to die, yet I did not fear death. The escape pod doors slowly shut as me, Thomas and Sarah were terrified. I must of blacked out as when I awoke I found myself intact on the surface of an unknown planet. I could see a beacon from far away yet I knew that if I would of walked up there, I would be shot. I began to make a small camp, gathering the basic escape pod items - potatoes, medkits, a pistol, a rifle and a copper sharpened knife. Thomas was still recovering from the shock of the crash and Sarah was beginning to look around to see anything we can use. Night was coming fast, the day was short, we must of crashed in the afternoon. I sat down on my makeshift bed surrounded by mountains and grass. This was the moment where I realised what I just got myself into. I began to fall asleep dreaming that I was home with my dad away from this planet and the Glitterworld mines...

What happened - I was making a new world, pressed the world I had just made and then alt tabbed to check the time. After looking back, just the map was completely grey'ed out.

Even better! But the thing is, you should not know if one is infected until it is too late... Apart from if you have a 'scanner' or a high level doctor near the infected. Then you should be able to remove it by having a high level doctor but still a chance of death.

Probably been requested before but anyway:

A few facehuggers attack and hide in walls. Colonist enters the room and gets attacked but with no pop up. Colonist is on the floor yet alive so people need to rescue. The Xenomorph is like an infection with minor to extreme but unable to treat. When colonist dies either to the chestburster or natural, a chestburster comes out and once again hides in a wall but (like the naturally spawned cryosleep pods) hides in a cave type thing. Turns into Xenormorph. Attacks nearby people. Person turns into facehugger. Process repeats. No it's not like the Alien series but it just sounds cool :P

Oh and either it's just the Blitz Pack or you forgot to put for the Alien Ants the Ability Pack which allows them to attack. You forgot it in the Blitz Pack and maybe your LP :)

When I saw this, it screamed you since the series always ends because of the lack of challenge. This adds a new story-teller that allows HUGE battles and insane disasters. Also it adds nuclear reactors and super blasting charges.
You prob won't like it since it's in early development but still, it seems alright :)

Ideas / Skills Modification

What my suggestion is:

The skills degrade too fast, they should degrade if you haven't used that skill in a while not just overall.

For example:

A colonist is great at gardening but doesn't craft at all.
Gardening is at a 11.
Crafting is at a 5.
The crafting will degrade much faster than gardening does.

Reasoning for my idea:

The skills degrade too fast, you cannot make a really good miner without him mining 24/7. This bugs me (and possibly a lot of other people).
I don't think that it should be removed but just modified a bit.

So far, I have seen 3 of these type of bugs. I expect them all to be fixed in Alpha 7.

What it looks like is that the colonist no-clipped into the wall next to him! This may get annoying...

The constant traders should be able to get some of your colonists to escape for a huge price E.G. 1k each colonist.
This would add a different way of escaping the planet.

Also, when some of your colonists have escaped, you should be able to manage two colonies on one saved game so they can even trade with each other.

Last of all, you should have some offence when it comes to raiding so you can actually raid other places but they should be extremely difficult but are filled with rewards.

When you get someone with the pessimist trait and you go into thoughts and hover over pessimist, it says: 'Natural bonus from sanguine trait' but it says it correctly with the sanguine. It has been put for both of them.
