When I play I usually build my comms console after quite a while. As I wait for trade ships to come nearby, I notice that there are now several that have just left range. So my solution is to have a box that comes up after you build the comms console telling you what ships are in range and what type of trader they are (similar to the normal menu for trading).
I don't think this has been mentioned before, so I thought it might be a bit useful.
Anyone else have thoughts on this? Ways too add and expand on the idea?
