Ideas / Re: A look at combat and gameplay

looks good to me. I love the idea of better combat encounters, with more strategic and tactical thinking.

Circus ships visit occasionally for a colony-wide boost (if you employ them).

Double Doors: when two doors are placed next to each other, they become one double door (functionally the same as two doors but with a bigger tile and animation).

Bugs / [W|0.0.254] Power issues - batteries don't drain
November 11, 2013, 10:35:59 AM
After playing for a couple of hours last night, I discovered that my colony's power didn't drain.  I had two geothermal generators running on an Easy game, along with a bunch of solar panels and 12 batteries. After tinkering with the system, switching off the gennies and then back on, and adding 40+ sun lamps, I tried deleting the batteries.  This shut the system down but one battery with 15.1Wd charge was enough to power my whole colony, with a combined draw of over 45,000W. The battery didn't drain at all.

Ideas / Directing multiple combatants
November 10, 2013, 06:34:05 AM
I was wondering whether it's possible to direct multiple combatants to attack the same target as a group. If so, don't mind this thread. If not, it would be really helpful in a battle situation.

Similarly, it would be great to be able to make "general priorities" for groups, ie. 'pick up all this rubble', 'mine here until done', 'cut down this area of trees and plants', but as a group, rather than directing each individual. (Again, disregard if this is already there, and perhaps add a note to the help section?)

A kitchen would be my vote... if the colonists are so heartbroken to have to eat nutrient paste, why wouldn't they cook it or the food they grow?
