But its deer, that just seems so silly. also the fact that they auto target engage all my colonists across the entire map. How are you supposed to hunt for food? Mortar the deer before sending in your full army with machine guns and grenades?? If only we could call in air strikes I might survive hunting some deer...

I set some deer to be hunter after a few moments i hear gunfire, i scroll down to see all 10+ deer charging my colonist. after they kill her they proceed to hoard mode and target each one of my colonists till they are all dead. Working as intended or bug.....?

General Discussion / How to get recent version?

Whenever I boot up rimworld it says I have version 10.783 and also says version 10.785 is available. How to I go about downloading it or updating my version? I have not received another email from sendowl yet. I also have been experiencing the no events glitch and have not been getting any raids etc. Is this fixed in version 10.785?

I would love to see if not in the next alpha in the future some more futuristic/alien stuff since the game is in the year what 5500?. Like we already have bionic body parts but maybe bionic weapons (arm machinegun?) maybe smartlinked weapons with implants to improve shooting.

More weapons, weapon types, and also armors in the base game (I know mods have added a lot but still)

Mechs that colonists can get into for combat or maybe things like mining?

Psionic powers, Im almost positive this will be in the game sometime since there is some psionic elements already but maybe if a colonist is psionic he would attack with various powers during combat, blasts, confusion, maybe buffs for allies?

I really enjoy the mod but is it possible to have a version that only has the initial landing event and not have it show up throughout the game randomly? The reason I ask is I like the initial landing because of the panic and trying to save what you can but the event popping up later can be easily handled which leads to hoards of good stuff every time the event pops up.

Also not sure but I imagined that after the initial crash that the random events would be like one part at a time but it repeated the entire sequence (like 4-6 ship parts of stuff) again and I got like hoards of food and power armor :[ which is the reason im posting here lol its nice and all but I like my games to go a little slower yknow?

Great mod it is compatible with EDB prepare carefully and Project Armory just a fyi I haven't had any errors or issues. Very interesting mod, I recommend people not starting with colonists incapable of "scary" (firefighting) lol..

Works perfect thank you! Finally a simple clean brain mod. ALso works with EDB prepare carefully and Project armory as of right now (only other mods im using)

A quick question, how would you rank the difficulty compared to Cassandra classic? Just overall not taking into account the other difficulty options I can toggle like base builder, casual, rough, etc

Well a walled area with a fire in it will quickly get the temp up to crazy numbers, I'm pretty sure fires can start with a high enough temp. (didnt watch the video btw)

That is exactly what is happening to me unfortunately. Also that poor colonist had a brain scratch? how do you get your brain scratched? lol anyways I hope a solution or update comes soon.
