Releases / Re: [B18] Better Parka Mod Updated
August 12, 2018, 04:06:26 PM
Some different color schemes can be found in the resources thread, as well as layered psd's that will let anyone with Photoshop easily make their own in just a few minutes.

Mods / Re: Art Modifications - Resources

I was going to make a winter clothing mod, but as usual i lost interest half way, so here's a bunch of new parkas.
Civilian and military models with and without hoods. The file contains both game-ready .png's and layered .psd files in larger resolutions that can be used to easily change details or colors, or they can be used as a template for making your own parkas, saving you a bit of time.

Don't mind me. Just doing some trolling...

7zip with layered psd's and a normal .png for those with no photoshop. Comes in 2 colours but with the psd's you can easily make your very own pink troll in about 30 seconds if that's what you want.

Updated the 7.zip and added a version with thinner outlines that look a lot better if you want to make a bigger troll. The old one had outlines more suitable for a human sized pawn. The old ones are still in the archive as well in case anyone wants them.

So! I finally managed to get back in to my account. Yay!! Found the files on an external HD and updated the link so it should be working again.
Also found some of my old textures and PSD's and made a download for those as well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nothing fancy, just some vanilla body/apparel textures resized to 512x512, cleaned up and saved as PSD with 3 layers (contour, shading and background). All ready for you to get creative without having to worry about the boring stuff.  :)
Made these in preparation for some texturing work and i thought they could be useful to others. At the very least they could save you some time.
At the moment the file contains psd's for bodies, t-shirts, pants, jackets and dusters. Haven't been able to find the parka textures.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This 7zip includes:
- Psd's for an old robot/droid i made that never got used.
- Psd's for the work coveralls from "Labourers apparel" Unfortunately i could not find the hard hat psd's.
- All png's from the "Colonial Marines". Could not find the psd's. Presumed lost for ever *sob*

Feel free to use these in any way you like for your own projects. Credit is nice but not necessary.
And please let me know if the links go down again. Ill try to check in every once in a while to make sure they work, and perhaps add something new.

Mods / Colonial marines PSD's
December 11, 2015, 05:19:26 PM
Hi all!  :)

Back when i made my Colonial marine mod for A8 https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=9225.0 i also uploaded the PSD's for others to use. Today i was thinking about starting work on the mod again but the uploaded files are gone and i can't seem to find them on my computer. Knowing myself i've probably thrown them away by mistake.
If someone have downloaded them and still have them lying around somewhere, i would be very grateful if they could upload them for me.

cheers

New to the whole modpack thing, but this one looks nice so i thought i'd give it a go.  :)

I have one question though. Seeing as this modpack appears to be modular (separate mod folders), does that mean i can choose to not use some of the mods or are they dependant on each other?

Edit: Should probably have read the above post first. Nm, i'm an idiot. :D

That did the trick. Everything is working fine now, so far at least.
Thank you very much for your help.  :)

There you go. It was too long to use the insert code thingie so i attached the file

Had a good long look in there and now i am even more confused. It's becoming painfully clear i should just stick to textures.  :o

Help / Weapons crate woes!!
December 04, 2015, 08:58:15 AM
I am trying to add some weapon and medicine crates to my game, but as usual, i have no idea what i'm doing.
I have managed to get them in to the game, and they appear to be working, sort of, but on reload i get a bunch of error messages i dont understand.
I was hoping someone could help me out with a "for dummies" translation and possibly a solution.

Pics of the error messages and def file attached.

This is great, you can never have too many hairs! :D Wasn't there another hair mod around some time ago? Around A8 or so? I'm not thinking about the Rimsenal addon, i'm using that allready.

Help / Re: Need help with sun lamps
October 19, 2015, 09:53:35 AM
No wonder i couldn't figure it out. The mod i looked at was the "More Sunlamps" mod. In that they are classified simply as "building" ( <thingClass>Building</thingClass> ). Thank you for taking the time to answer, i'll give it a go right now.  :)

Help / Need help with sun lamps
October 19, 2015, 06:29:07 AM
I am trying to modify (for my own use) an existing mod (the Floor Lights mod by Temeez) to add new versions of the lamps as sun lamps. I have downloaded and looked at other mods adding new sun lamps but i cant figure out what exactly in the .def file designates the lamps as sun lamps.
Any help would be appreciated.

This is brilliant! Glad to see some of my old textures got some new life, and in much improved form i might add.
I was just sitting here thinking maybe i should update the CM mod but now there's no need. :)
I will be using this one for sure. Keep up the good work!

Sorry i haven't been around to update the mod (or at least to reply to comments). I am not currently playing the game, and i probably won't be again until it's done.
In my personal version from Beta 8 i have a few small additions that never got released, bandanas, helmet variants .etc and when the game is finished i will most likely revive the mod and possibly expand on it, but until then i'm afraid there won't be an update, sorry.
I'm just not willing to put in the time atm as i have a lot of other stuff going on.
Of course if anyone else has updated/modified it or whatnot for their own use they are free to share it with anyone or even take over the mod completely. Same goes for the Workers Apparel Mod.
