Mods / [Request] Quality Control

So, as of late I have been rather frustrated with the quality of items that my colonists are making.  So I had a few ideas of how it could work.

One would be to simply bring back the old quality distributions.  I kind of like having lots of excellent and masterwork clothing for my guys.

Second would be to have a modifer for crafting to increase the quality of what is crafted wither through increasing the work takes to craft something (like 2X for every quality level increased) or by using somewhat more resources to do it (say +25% per level increased) or both.

Third would be to have colonists "upgrade" items, but for balance sake have it cost resources and time.  Lots and lots of time. 

Fourth would be to have the relevant attributes (maniplulation, sights, ect) affect the quality of the items.  After all, a guy with bionics should be able to make a better sword than the fleshbag.

Any thoughts?

I actually tamed TWO thrumbos once.  I had to gun them down, stick them in a couple of cryptosleep caskets then make a pen for them.  Took for freaking ever and I was using that cybernetics mod to make my tamer better.  Of course this was after I had actually bought one from a trader.

Personally I think allowing wounds to heal without medical attention would be nice, but have it take a day or two with a decent chance of having it scar (moreso than a poorly treated one) and take longer to heal.  So you would have "treated well" "treated poorly" and "scabbed over" instead.

The page on quality was for pre Alpha 11 at the very least.  I know in Alpha 12 I had an LV 20 crafter with all kinds of bionic improvements getting pretty much only one in 10 or so getting masterwork and all of one legendary item for the whole game of constantly making clothing to sell.
