I'd really like to see ammo as a part of the game. The only mod I have become dependent on is the ammunition mod. Really adds to the game.

Good changes. Gives more variety, and wargs are pure combat dogs.

Never before has the world had so few to thank for such a huge and marvelous game!

Yep, only happens to me when colonists are bored by the current entertainment alternatives.

How do you enable merciless now? I refuse to play on anything less difficult.

The button's at the bottom of the storyteller select screen in the middle.

I'm curious why you refuse to ever try a lower difficulty? This is something I've observed in various forms and it's worth understanding the motivation.

Thanks, my good chap Tynan.

Played Rimworld since Alpha 8, and alot, so have some experience. But that said, I've always played on the most difficult and on Cassandra from the very start, just to get used to the niveau from the very beginning. I love to make mistakes and I'm then alot more motivated for the next game if there is alot to improve upon in my gameplay. I do this in most games, but especially in a survival game I want to feel the struggle. Not only hardest difficulty, but I also prefer to play on the ice sheet, with a modified crashlanded scenario (the same as the default, but changed to tribe so I start with less tech and more expensive tech - often I choose to start With electricity at least if it's a really cold ice sheet). That's when I have the most fun.

NB! Thanks for a wonderful game, easely my favorite game the last years.

General Discussion / Re: To RNG or not to RNG

The fun with Rimworld is all the bad things that can happen. There is alot to plan arround to increase safety and reduce the chances of bad luck. I really hope things like for instance friendly fire isn't nerfed even more again.

Sometimes bad things happen, I really hope Rimworld doesent turn into another 100% predictable yawn of a game.

Great mod, but you know there are unbalances when you will never build a normal lamp again.

What I would change: Increase build cost with + 1 Component + 7 steel. Increase power consumption to 15.

Slaughterer is a Heavy condition that occurs only when the pawn is driven very hard to insanity. The point is to prevent this kind of behaviour by making the perfect base! And yes, you can try to arrest the person hopefully before he makes to much damage.

Never been interested in the win, but to survive as long as possible and to build the coolest base possible.

I've played alot of both Cassandra and Randy Extreme. Never had a game where Randy is more difficult all in all. Cassandra is the hardest storyteller by far.

The Tornado is great!
