Just double checked the video driver. Seams Lbubtu did an update and changed the driver to an opensource x.org driver.

Loaded the nVidia 340.xxx driver and all is working well once again.

I currently see this on B18. A17 worked perfectly. Lbuntu 17.10

I too came here to report this. Game lags down and everything is very slow along with all the pawns frozen in place. Happens about 3 minutes into the game for me. my FPS goes from 60 down to single digits. (Core i7, 16GB ram with a nVidia 960M w/ 4GB ram).

If you look around in your save game files for the person's name and know what his/her skill levels are, you can find the data and edit it with notepad.
