Well, we already have IMPs and MREs in the simplistic form of Packaged Survival Meals (PSMs). Beef Jerky would be more of a food type, which can be cooked using 1 piece of meat. Basically the meat is made un-raw, therefore giving a better mood boost, but cannot be used in cooking. Oh, and what's a 'Twinkie?'
