Quote from: OutrideGamingHey I've found a bug.

All my coolers are invisible when I try to place them. And after I place one, and have a colonist build it, it just disappears and so do my resources. Any idea what mod might be causing this?

Thanks! Great mod pack btw

It's probably related to the "Better Coolers" mod and/or "ED-ReverseCycleCooler patch for BetterCoolers" (see mod numbers: 37,38,40 in the list on the main thread).

I've just tested this now in god mode and it's working fine. You must've changed the load order somehow (I know this because it also happened to me, in a similar fashion, while testing; the patch is crucial as well as the ordering). Remember to exit the game after every opening of the Mods menu or strange things are very likely to happen.

Alright I re-loaded the game, reset mods to just core and closed out once it finished. Loaded the game back up, and did the mods in the order you gave.

Here's the errors:

There's also a random yellow line a few whites, and back to a 2 red lines. Third image is a full of the bottom pannel from the first red line of armor penetration.

Thanks for the help!

Hey,

I'm running the Mega Mod Pack by Crusader2010. Here's a link:

https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=19800.0

I've got a problem with the coolers. They all are invisible when I try to place them, but the game recognizes it's there. Then when a colonists builds it, it disappears. It's odd, and thought I'd share this. If I disable the mod, it works. If I use the mod on its own, it works. Any Ideas?

I'm not going to lie, I burst out laughing when I saw the Tank roll in the first season! Then it slapped me in the face.. That could happen to me. I didn't even know there were tanks!

It's glad to see you again skyarkh. This modpack is epic man! I have to admit it is definitely a lot of stuff on it. It's crazy but it's what makes it even more fun. Don't get me wrong, the core is alright, but this adds levels on top of levels of difficulty & in-depth.

Great modpack!

This has happened to me, but that was because my prisoners were open.

I had two prisoners in one room with two beds. One went berzerk. And i had my warden get out of there. As he left i selected the door and "forbid" access. So, it stayed open because no one could closed it. And some visitors came, started shooting at my prisoners. I don't know if that's really a "bug" because it makes sense. Two factions, hostile to one another, find one another on my map, I get the code behind it that'd make them do that. So to me, it wasn't a "bug" but it could be

To be safe, could you remove the mods from the game, and try to see if it happens again? (worth a try, then at least you know it's the core game doing it)

I took an AP course last year in computer science, and learned Java for a year. I'll be honest, as far as "core" goes, it was all from there. Half the other material I either self taught through oracle's API, or Stackexchange :p

I understand plenty, and in all honesty I'd be truly glad to lend a hand, but I will tell you now, and in no way discouraging you, chances are I'll need a bit of help to get up to speed, look through the code, learn what needs to be done, how it's done, and what has been done, as well as any way I could help. One of the things that I've learned is that after a long project, it's always good to have an extra set or two of eyes to re read it all. Ask questions, and see what can be streamlined, fixed, edited, so on so forth. This is your project, and therefore the minute anyone needs me to just be quiet or go stand in the corner and just test for a bit, I'll be glad :p Will be happy to meet the team. I will pm you my skype, just tell me what time (and a timezone for that time) so I can plan accordingly.

Resume:
Some experience with github, but wish I'd have more.
Extensive Java knowledge, along with basic python and some c# and c++ (still wish i'd have more :p)
Summer - so plenty of time as i'm out of school. Note: I am out of the country, so I may travel here and there, but mostly im stationary with good internet, and my computer at my disposal)
Willingness to learn and listen, and a good team player.

I look forward to hearing from you,

-OutrideGaming

-EDIT-
P.S. Is there anyone specifically in charge to turn in this "resume" in to? :p

Hey,

I've been following this page for a bit now and decided if was time to offer my help. I know basics in coding, mostly Java, some python. I'm not the best, but I could be a good bouncing board at the least. I can also happily do testing, and help keep track and manage, need be. Not great, but I believe in this mod and would love to see it in the vanilla :D feel free to reply or pm me for my Skype.

The noobie,
OutrideGaming

P.S. I can also record the game, in case you guys wanted to upload progress videos and what not.
