Will this mod work on a game I created before installing it, or do I have to start a new game?

Mods / Re: Request - Animal food
January 28, 2016, 09:05:10 PM
It should be more than just a mod, it should be part of the game! I know your feels! I just play vanilla Rimworld and I get so irritated watching my animals eat my lavish meals (cuz my dogs are unrestricted so they can haul things) instead of hay or some raw food. It's also annoying to see people giving prisoners lavish meals. I run a psycho/organ trader/human butcher compound, prisoners' lives are meaningless, I don't wanna feed them my good stuff lol. I think the UI for it would be really simple. It could either be like the interface for medicine quality selection on pawns, or somewhat like the cooking stove's production page.

Bugs / Re: Loss of goodwill when killing a berserking friendly who attacked me first

I don't consider that a bug, since you did kill one of their colonists, regardless of the reasons.
Do you think it makes sense?
There's not even a safe non-lethal way of incapacitating people in the game. So what am I supposed to do in this situation, run away? I could probably have done that and let the mechs kill him.
You can use psychic shock lances to disable people without killing them. There is a risk that it will kill them or give them brain damage, but it CAN just down them without any damage. I recommend saving before you use it. You can normally buy them from exotic traders, sometimes from pirate traders, although that is much rarer in my experience. You can also find them in cryptocasket tombs, but I don't know what the chances are on that at all. They typically cost me around 900 silver or so from the traders on rough difficulty setting.

Bugs / Re: [w|0.12.911] Prisoners are fed with raw meat when nutrient paste is available
September 11, 2015, 07:38:44 PM
I have had a similar issue occur with my prisoners, but I feed them meals. My warden fed my prisoner raw hare meat instead of a simple meal! On that note, there really should be an option to set what type of food your prisoners are allowed to be given. I don't want them eating my fine and lavish meals! C'mon!
