I'm looking at the sculptures more, but i can't understand how to install it..

My core folder has no textures folder inside it.. should I just make one?

Sorry for late reply. I put up a regular Mod version, since a lot of people had trouble with getting these installed. Should be way simpler now.

And why should RW use these textures instead the regular ones ?
Adding new folder/files in core don't do anythings.
Download the sculpture pack, look how the sculptures are named, search for this name at the core, then you know where you need to copy these.

What do you mean? I have these textures placed in RimWorld\Mods\Core\Textures\Things\Building\Art\SculptureGrand etc. and the game has been loading them from there instead of the default textures. I have made several other replacement textures over time and they all have been used in the game in this way.
There's also another texture pack made by zzz1000 that replaces steel slag and stone chunk textures in this way and I have been using that since A13 or A14, can't really remember.

Check it out, he's textures are awesome:

This is the feeling when the floor texture looks better than the texture of the colonist, the walls and generally everything in the game)

Just don't download that mod dude, it's dated (unless you're still playing A15). I'll update these at some point in time, between now and when our sun goes supernova.

Don't want to sound like a huge idiot, but my core folder doesn't have a texture file, I created one to put this in, but as I assumed that didn't work. I also searched the other folders looking for where the games stock .PNG's were and couldn't find those either.

I know I'm missing something obvious, but I can't figure out where to put these, also is anybody getting pottery to work, I get a ton of errors when I load it up.

Yeah, you have to make these folders yourself. I saw that i made a mistake with the folder path and I corrected it now. Alternatively, you can just use the version Dr_Zhivago made. Also, thanks Zhivago for making it!

The pottery mod is still A15 and it probably won't work properly on current version of the game.

I am terribly sorry everyone, but I will have to discontinue all of my mods so far.
I have recently moved from my home country to Australia and had to find some more permanent accommodation, a new job and basically start my life from scratch again. I thought that I would at least have some time to update these mods to current version, but unfortunately, I couldn't even find some time to do that.

It might be a long time before I start uploading/updating stuff again, so the only reasonable thing to do is to leave these mods for someone else to maintain/update for the time being...

As always, everything from these mods is available for everyone to use.

Thank you all for your support!

You still going to make baskets?

Yes, just not anytime soon, unfortunately... I have been preoccupied with work lately and I barely have any time for modding (or myself for that matter).

I'll start updating as soon as I can.

The Pottery Mod will be moved and updated on this thread from now on.

EDIT: Stand-alone versions of Ore Pack are up. One containing just new natural rocks and one with metals and alloys.

I'm not into more content mods but I do like your tile textures. Any chance you could make a mod that just replaces the default stone tiles?

Edit: Never mind. I finally figured out how the texture folder works. What I did was download the Travertine texture (because it's paler and I figured it would color better) and renamed it to

There! You got your textures on your own and I got to not do anything productive! Everybody wins!

Hey, now that you got that, maybe you could find of interest knowing that there was an old "complete overhaul" graphic pack made by Jabbamonkey iirc. If the download links are still alive you could cheery pick some nice textures.

I was like , I'm not sure but maybe it could interest you.

I still have to look at if it can be revived/updated on day

Edit: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=10895
And links look like they work

Actually, I don't mind the vanilla textures for most part! It was pretty much, just the rocks, that looked like blobs, that bothered me.
But thanks anyway, I might dig through these to see if there's something interesting!

"Long ago many peoples and civilizations have died because he did not shut up their food in sealed containers such as pottery ..."

Why not add this dynamic and more beings beautiful objects to see?

It would be enough to add a modifier to decrease the rate at which perishable items can lapse into more dynamic temperature, right?

If I recall, someone already did make a mod like that! Just didn't update it to A15 I think...also I forgot who it was that made it.
That's kinda why I did not want to make these into a storage containers... just pretty much useless clutter.

This is a great small mod! Can you make one like this but for Baskets? Thanks in advance!

I was planning on updating this later today. I got some more pottery to add. After that, yeah, baskets could be next on to-do list! I'll just combine it into a big crappy tribal arts and crafts mod.

Can you consider separating this from Industrialization for those of us who just want new stone types and not deep drilling and concrete and whatnot? ^_^

But concrete is your friend! So is copper and aluminum!
Well, I guess I could. I'll post a stand alone version in the next couple of days.

Just posting so i can keep track of this for my next download spree. Looks great, can't wait for my current colony to fail miserably so i can use it!

Hehe! I secretly hope for that, every time I see some new mod that I wanna try!  That's exactly why I haven't seen the endgame so far.
