I would love to be able to do more with prisoners, such as make them fight each other to the death, or practice medical procedures.

Also as much as it's great now, some UI elements could do with cleaning up a bit.
Always get excited when I see the update email!

More than just prisoners fighting each other, I want to be able to make an arena and let prisoners fight to the death for the amusement of others

What i'd like to see, personally, is either a random story-line beginning written for many scenarios or stories to go with each storyteller i.e. "Robbed an interstellar bank" - start with $$$ but more raiders. "Escaped prison" - dangerous traits, in chains for first day.

This isn't anything new, google has been fucking up everything behind closed doors for years, their privacy regulations are basically them tracking you to sell info to advertisers. I don't use google search.

But if google fucks youtube up, someone (with morals) will start a new one i'm sure.

These will be fixed eventually, but the traits will probably have more use in the future, such as sexually experienced people being more likely to start a relationship.

I had thought of this before, and had a few scenarios.

1. Research will eventually lead to the possibility of faster than light travel (information only).
Testing this theory would require lots of resources, power and strange objects found on the planet or from crashed pods to create a machine capable of sending messages to the main planets about your discovery. They could also send help to the nearest friendly planet asking for rescue. This would take 10-15 days before they arrive, but during that time, raiders come in big waves to capture your device. (one possible ending)

2. If all trading vessels are automated-beings (robots) that endlessly search the galaxy, then they wouldn't have stasis pods meaning no way for them to pick you up.

The Rim World you are stranded on is on the "rim of the galaxy". And since faster than light travel isn't possible, it would take a long, long time for them to get any message and send it back, even if the ship were to bother taking the trip.

Ideas / [Suggestion] Nests - Spawns for pests

You've got a nice farm going, protected from raiders, plenty of metal.. but what's this? A small hole has developed outside near your farm.
1 or 2 squirrels or boomrats come out per day, nibble on your potatoes and scurry off.

What to do?
Well, you could research pesticides to stop this from happening.
You could also assign a worker to destroy the hole
Or you could wall the nest in, creating a home for your would-be pets (or target practice)

-Inspire fear, or enjoyment of watching
-Entertaining mechanic
-Better reason to get prisoners
-Make + decorate a gladiator room!

Ideas / [Suggestion] Saving change

My idea:
1. Making a dedicated save file before starting the new map
2. Changing the autosave function so it overwrites the save file (meaning less cluttered saves)
3. Hardcore mode: where if you all die, the save is deleted, meaning the story is over for good (you can't just reload the last save).
