Lol that is my constant problem with the tammed animals. I still keep finding chem fuel and milk all across the map. I haven't butchered my cows yet since of the instant drop of milk that helps feed my pawns. Bulls are a bit annoying since all they do is eat my supply of ready meals instead of the plant food I prepared for them so I try to reduce their population after they pregnant my cows.

Well you could just kill the puppies lol kidding what I do if I am feeling lazy is create one animal area that covers the whole map then just get rid of the area around my storages lots of room for animals and no complaints from drunk dogs dieing constantly by drinking the emergancy beer for the winter to warm the belly

@Gabe Lincoln what you are suggesting is essentials to become the raiders. when you start off (if you are using one of the default scenarios)  normally  u will contain if you were playing crashed survivors you would have maybe the basic gear of a bolt-rifle revolver and a palsteel knife if you were to go farther down the line in reasurch such as blowback you will have to rely on raids to have the right guns in order to reasurch the Tec to get more of those guns or to get turrets (which in your terms of item usage will cost a lot more then it is worth). Your system relies on other factions to be a lot more advance then you for you to advance up and you might never get to spacetec. In a play through

You certainly gave a lot of thought into this heck never even heard of xenohumans until reading this post.  ;D I even tried looking on google for what that is and it brought me straight back into this post. It would be extremely interesting to see a bit more diversity in 1.0 as they try to slowly get up there and to be honest, I would never even try to read any type of dialogue in the mods or my whole head gets a bit mixed in trying to connect it all.

Seeing different races within the human race would add some more variety but will also come with its own complexity since while your ideas are pretty thought out about what you see humans turning into something and how they will react later on. (also bee people should have a have a hive like mind for obvious reasons relating to there queen and their nature of protecting the queen) the one thing I see that could become a problem is how far are you willing to dwell into each race and how there. Mood, eating, habits, back stories, traits, how diseases affect each race differently such as one disease that could live inside a xenohuman could be extremely deadly to the other Xenohuman since their region didn't have that disease, stuff like that. 

I am interested in seeing how many races you have in mind for the Xeohumans If you can show how many races of Xeohumans you are thinking about let me see them whether they are extremely bizarre or very realistic. It will help me see how far you are willing to create such a vast amount of new human races.

Hopefully creating a burn room for them will work better then for the mecs which don't give a ***** about the temperature being over 500 and encased in a hell of a flame .

My god, I thought I knew most games never hear of rage 2 and looks a lot like mad maxish themed and I guess it would be cool to see something like that in a mode heck I can already see how I would create a mod that would fit into Rimworld (if I had the time). hmmm, design art should be simple just by using our already existing raiders but put more of a dystopian look and maybe a whole new world of a dystopian landscape such as deserts broken cities possible nuclear fall out (I usually think big first before I decide anything)  ;D. You have a good taste in games Arty and even though I can't make the mod I can see how its a possibility to make one.

I mean my strategy is to build a huge wall build kill boxes (multiple) around the outside of the kill boxes (in strategic places of course) then build another huge wall around does kill boxes then repeat unless I require expansion which I am still thinking about how I am going to expand my base (lol I have so much room inside the wall). The one thing I am scared about (since mecs and raiders are super easy) is infestation since I haven't played in a mountain areas yet as I said in the previous comments so what would be the best thing to do If an infestation does develop on the inside of my base. Since I already know what to do (from previous comments) how to deal with it on the outside but not really on the inside. Yea the more I read the more frightened I am from an infestation popping out when I have no idea how to handle them. If you want to see my layout let me know so I can post a picture

holy crap sorry I have never seen that many mods run on Rimworld (still enjoy the plain version of the game after a year or two  ;) ) also those snowflake patterns are cool shouldn't be there but cool.

correction I looked back at my gameplay against those mecs and found that every second or so they receive burn damage by being in the room so yea I guess its helpful somewhat. I found that out only because I remember trying to get a mec corpse and my pawns kept on taking damage from the heat (burns) since the fire didn't damage the outside walls in time for the room to turn into outside which distributes the heat.

Wait just got a idea. Do you have any save files before u cheated does should work and you should continue the game like it never happened. Unless you are playing permadeath mode

And no extrime temperature does not kill them heck the centipede was walking in a pure ball of flame room(taped him in there) and he did not die or burn I mean what the **** was that logic. I had to put deadfall traps in order for it to by moderately successful.
