Most people only play to make stupid memes about people romancing themselves and ate without table. The developers know their audience well. It is more worth to spend time on the random meme generator.

r/rimworld is all about memes, much less about strategy or rimworld mechanics theorycrafting. Rimworld has quite a lot of mechanics which doesnt interact well with the game, or are either unfinished/unfilled/nonsensical. Its still unique since theres nothing like that in this genre[dwarf fortress has terrible graphics, that put off lot of people, factorio is basically logistics simulator, not survival simulator].

Could you add Mean Time Between or slider with randomized range[like between 2-8 days]. Ive tried to add more raids to my scenarios, but these repeat at a constant rate, so either i create like 6-8 incidents that have different interval so they appear to be random, but its a lousy way. Or add modifier so raids happen two times the vanilla, 4x times and so on.

Edit: Apparently i can't even add same raids as incidents. That's dissapointing.

Content complete, well yeah maybe, but there's still lot of QoL and bugfixing around[like refuel passive cooler, take from specified stockpile option, and many many more]. Although as far as content complete, the game without mods is quite shallow, so keeping the good mod support is vital for this game being able to deliver pleasant experience.

Its really not the same game without combat extended and its ammunition implementation -you can't balance ranged weapons properly without ammunition, so you end up with OP melee builds in vanilla.

Actually no, so there's no benefit to be in desolate place, on the contrary, you want to be in a place as crowded as possible, since you can start trading easier and raid frequency will be the same.

Hi Fluffy, thanks for your awesome mods, is it possible to make vertical tab[meaning a scrollable table from top to the bottom of the screen] in Work Tab mod? I have to either mouse over or angle my head to read the vertical job titles.

And btw i have an error iwth Work Tab when i try to change switch to numeric priorities:

Just make armor working like in real life. For example we have a typical flak vest ie. flexible kevlar vest. It should completely protect from bullets like SMGs, shotgun to torso, dont protect shoulders or legs. Armor will wear off by absorbing shots, and then even said SMGs and shotguns will pierce it eventually. Marine armor should protect from rifles and charge rifle/glitterworld weapons, but again getting hit wears off the armor and you would eventually get through. Game would benefit from adding more armor, and armors that cover more and less at the cost of weight, so flak vest with shoulder pads and thigh pads, or flak vest with plate insert. Fights would be protracted, less chaotic and RNG prone. But melee users would benefit from that, and most of kevlar vests dont protect from sharp knifes at all[ironically protect well against bullets, but knifes go through at relative ease], unless equipped with plate inserts.

Checked all of the above mods none make a problem. Then checked another batch after scanning .dlls and xmls by total commander for "hediff" part and heres the list

Animals Logic
Harvest Organ
Stone rebalanced
More faction interaction
targeting modes
toxic fallout suit
edb prepare carefully
hospitality
map reroll
allow tool
humanoid alien races
help tab

surprisingly after disabling these mods,no problem with spawning raids occured. So now im up to hunting which one of these has lousy coding causing the problem.


Edit: And the garbage mod of the year, that wasted me few hours of my life is toxic fallout suit.

That part of the log is not problematic, since ive tested different groups spawning, ancients and insects dont have raid groups in vanilla, so its not a problem. The problem is when i spawn groups that should be possible to have raids like outlanders rough or pirates.

But thank you for the help nonetheless!
