I was wrong it seemed to be fixed for one session and now it is broken again.

Somehow I fixed this I am not for sure how. I added a third monitor in the process so now two ar running on DP and the third on HDMI. I stopped a few things from starting up on my comp. I also got to thinking about what you said I have a Nostromo pad connected so I pressed some of the buttons on it I didnt actually get to unplug it because I tested RW and it worked fine. I do still have one issue though with RW and that is that since I reinstalled it none of my subscribed Mods have downloaded how do I get those to download again?


I think I still have an underlying conflict when I reboot my machine I can see it. This is a weird issue and I dont expect a fix here but if I restart my PC I have no control in that if I select the apps menu it opens and rapidly scrolls through items moving focus so fast you cant select items. If you open a browser it will scroll automatically to the bottom of the page on its own new pages will open and scroll down. If you open a window like in config and lets say it has Apply Ok and Cancel at the bottom it will move focus between those buttons so fast you cannot press the button you have to X out of the window. Now to resolve this I have to powerdown the PC completely and usually every other time I get a clean boot and there are no problems but I cannot figure out what is going on here. It seems like there is a conflict but I cannot see what it is. What is the best forum to get help on that issue Toms? Thanks.

Thanks for the observation that was good. I can press other F# buttons and things will happen in the background but the stats screen is still over the top. like I can take a snapshot and stuff but I still cant make that go away. Also unplugging my keyboard had no effect so if it was a stuck key I would think that it would stop. Additionally I thought of another thing I did recently which was to run my RW game off of an SSD which I did not do before.

I have been playing RW on a 1080p monitor for a while I got a new AOC 1440p 144hz monitor recently I also have a 1070 vid card if that matters. The issue I am facing is that when I play the game I get a crazy flickering of the statistics menu on my screen which makes the game unplayable. I cannot use other menus and the ESC does not work nor can I exit normally I have to kill the task.
I have installed latest nvidia drivers and monitor drivers.
I reduced res to 1080p tried in windows mode also
turned off Gsync.
Reinstalled RW removed all the mods so this is the stock game

This does not happen on cities skylines, prison arch, Total war games
