I've been doing some work on patches for this mod. I've done the Lord of the Rims hairs for Elves, Dwarves and Hobbits. I've attached that to this post.

For a bunch of other ones, (GloomyHair, Roppoi Hair, Lovely Hair Style, Lolidrop's Hairshop) I've been pretty much doing them as the need arrives. Because even just doing the UpperHead versions, that still ends up being quite a lot of files.

I'm in the process of making for my friend a mod that adds armour in the style of Super Sentai and Power Rangers. She wants to do a playthrough where the starting colonists are a team. (A fan team that we created with our friends, rather than a canonical team)

The armour suits will be added into the scenario editor, so that the six starting colonists get access to suits of armour that don't show up anywhere else in the game.

To simplify things, the Change Dresser mod will handle the transformation part, donning their suits when drafted, and then going back to civilian clothing after the fight or when downed. As they will be coloured via Change Dresser's layer colour options, this means that each team member will also wear their colour outside of battle as well.

I've finally managed to get the suits to appear properly, having figured out that for the apparel textures, capitalisation matters. I also learnt that Rimworld sometimes can't load a PNG exported from Inkscape until after I've loaded and resaved in GIMP.

After testing with DevMode, I spawned a raid where half the raiders wore the Sentai suits as well. I've since set generateCommonality and generateAllowChance to 0, and set tradeability to Never. Will this prevent the Sentai suits being worn elsewhere, or are there any other properties I should be setting for this?

From what I can tell reading elsewhere, texture masks in RimWorld don't work for apparel when worn, which is unfortunate, as I'd like to be able to define white areas of the suits.

Are there any other specific properties that would be useful for a Super Sentai suit, or a general list of apparel properties that could be useful for this?

A friend of mine has asked me to look at possibly making some modded hairs compatible with this mod.

Looking at the guide, and checking the DSYH folders and original textures, I think I've figured out how to make it work.

One question I have, is when editing existing hairstyles into UpperHead and FullHead versions, was there something specific used for a template to make sure the hairs were cropped at the right position?
