I am trying to mod how wealth/raid are calculated. Which files in the rimworld install should I be looking at?

Does anyone have a working 1.1 mod to alter raids? Game just spirals out of control the minute I want anything nice in my base/items.
Tried Marvs combat readiness check and Prepare for combat. Marv doesnt seem to work. Prepare crashes my game.
Alternately anyone know where the def's covering this are so maybe i can try modding it directly?

I constantly find myself right clicking to cancel a message just as another is coming in and not seeing the message at all. Are there any mods to make new messages appear at the top, not the bottom?
