I want to line up my turrets in a way that my base can be defended most effectively for the space I put it in, but they are either spread too far apart (raiders blow them up), or they are too close together and when one explodes, they all explode. Suggestions?

As of this moment, when playing through the game for about 4 cycles, I noticed that all of the trading ships (slave trader and military supplier) had the exact same prices for everything. I would like to be able to set up a more long-term focused colony, and trading sort of is at the center of that (for me, at least). For anyone who wants to make suggestions toward this, feel free to do so.

A simple suggestion is to diversify the ships that visit a little bit (like adding a resource-focused ship, for example a deep space miner, which already fits into the lore).
