Ideas / Hunting.
December 15, 2014, 04:14:08 PM
There should be an option menu for hunting.
Constantly picking out animals for hunting is time consuming and irritating.

So the hunting priorities would be as followed(X indicates he should be allowed to hunt for it)
Hare (X)
Monkey( )
Muffalo( )
Deer(X)

Ideas / Raids.

I think raiding should be changed.
Currently the raiders aren't really realistic because they only mindlessly want to destroy and kill all your colonist for no obvious reason? So it would be more logical if they would steal your resources. Or maybe before the raid the raiders will apply an ultimatum (With a high price) or else they will attack your colony.
here are some ideas:
-Pirates should go for your valuables like(Gold, plasteel and such)And kidnap colonist?
-Raiders should go for everything but especially the resources named above. But have less interest in kidnapping.
-The tribal people will look for only the most basic things (Wood, Food) and have no interest in most valuable because they are 'tribe people' and don't really understand the value.(Negotiation not possible)
-I think animals should steal your food more frequent if they can't get some from their surroundings. This would be especially irritating in environments were not much things grow.

This would make the game more interesting and alive.

General Discussion / Forcing to eat?
December 14, 2014, 03:47:40 AM
I had no food lately in the game but my colonist didn't care to be starving. They don't seemed to have any interest in eating some survival packages. I even told them to go there to haul it and drafted them when they were close to the food. They had no interrest in the food when they got close and to their way home they starved to death. So i would like a option to force your colonist to eat something... Or maybe some priority on the priority list for self care?
