PlanetBase is a new upcoming game about running colony on alien planet. It is much less focused on fighting and more on economy and development. Check it out on steam. I am currently playing it being one of lucky few to get beta access for my youtube channel.

I made a little photo tutorial of what too look for when picking new base. Though it may be useful for few of new players

When creating new colony after I pick my starter colonist and click next game crashes displaying

HI guys I'm back with another mod spotlight this time featuring Cybernetic Storm

So I was playing a game today and this is what happened.

Fire started in my crops room and temperature was increasing uncontrollably reaching over 1300C  here is the image I'm not sure if that is what how it should be. I was unable to stop a fire as anyone going in the room was immediately going into extreme heat stroke.

I can provide save file and a video if needs be as I was recording it at a time.

Here we go again with new update time for a new colony. I will continue this series daily so expect videos every day around 18:00 UK time.

So After I finally fixed my laptop I am back to recording daily videos of Rimworld. This time I decided to play in one of new winter biomes but as an extra challenge I started in December food is low, heating is the most important resource and even few minutes outside can be dangerous to the health.

I have colonist responsible for growing food she has growing at priority 2 and howling at 4. However immediately after harvesting plant she transports it to the hoppers. It means she harvest one plant goes to hopper goes back and harvest another and so on. It used to be that they used to harvest entire field and then transport now in this version it appears to have change.

Hi guys just to let you know that with release of Alpha 7 I started series in Rimworld. Which I will be updating daily so you will have episode everyday.
If you wander who I am and if it's worth your time here is few words about me.

I have been creating Let's Play content since December 2013 and recently reached 500 subscribers and around 20k monthly views. I focus mostly on strategy, tactics and indie games. My channel is run in clear family friendly environment that I try to uphold to the highest standard.
I first saw Rimworld as alpha 7 and it didn't have enough content for me but I kept checking on the game and with alpha 7 I feel game has a lot of potential now and makes for interesting series. I was involved in beta testing of the game for this update.

As a youtuber I like to track some of a interesting games that I may not play on my channel in the future. Google trends is one amazing thing for anyone to see how is a game doing. As of writing this post Rimworld hit it's peak of popularity and it's climbing up all the time. I predict that with alpha 7 even more youtubers will peak up the game and give it a go.

This game is still less popular than let's say Kerbal Space Program but is having a nice up trend that will make it attractive to other youtubers I and when others interested in indie games will pickit up it will go massive. I hope deves can keep game interesting and fallow with good steam release and campaign after alpha 7 or 8. I have seen so many games crashing badly after hype.

Just thought I will share my observations in case anyone was interested how is game popularity doing. I am waiting for alpha 7 and probably join already strong team of people making videos of it

My base is usually well protected and ai can deal with them when they assault my base but how do you deal with crashed ship when they just sit near it and chill out waiting for psychic dron to drive your base insane. I normally deal with them with mortars but they are so unreliable. I had occasions that my best team of 16 guys working shifts 24/7 on 8 mortars each of them shooting at least 8 and still managed to go insane before destroying it.
