I dont get the point of it anymore. Last time I played the pawns used it, but now they grab raw meat over using it and get sick. My cook keeps breaking because shes In withdrawal so i have no cook but tons of raw food. Why was this changed to make the dispenser pointless?

Is there a way to make the pawns prefer the paste over raw meat again?

So I have a decent colony going at the moment, but I am getting frustrated with how stockpiles are working. As my smith's make weapons and tailors make clothes they keep taking them to my trade stockpile instead of my armory I made. I have the armory stockpile set at Critical now(which I have slowly increased it as I noticed this, and technically if it's set even one notch above the trade stockpile should they not take it to the armory?) and my trade beacon stockpile set at low(which I slowly decreased over the last few hours). I set the HP at 50% and quality to anything at the armory, though they randomly took 3 apparel items to my armory and that is it at this point and there are some between the slider-bars on HP and quality being taken to my trade-post stockpile. My colonists always just take the items created to my trade beacon stockpile no matter what they create besides every now and then? Is there not logic to this or what is going on here that I am missing?

Thanks for any help! Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong(this is how I set it up in DF anytime I played and it worked fine).

So you used to be able to build conduit walls for powering stations inside of structures, but I can no longer build them(been a while since I last played)? How do I power my station inside a building, and why was that feature removed?

I am downloading A12 now, and noticed a added "Rimworld Prototype Pack" that is roughly the same size as the game. Anyone know what this is?

I see the hotfix came out earlier today, but I cannot download it as I see nowhere on the site to do that. I usually receive an e-mail with a link to download an update but did not this time(Hurry up with the Steam release :P)?

I just bought the game a few days ago and decided to give it a go tonight. I am doing good with my first colony having fended off a few raider attacks, and animal attacks and seem to have most of the buildings built(with individual bedrooms). However one of my members caught the flu and is just laying in a medical bed. Every now and then a warning pops-up that he's about to go insane, and checking his thoughts it's because he gets hungry. Do they not get food themselves or am I doing something wrong? I have to disable all the medical beds before he will get up and go get his food and then re-enable them. Also how do I make him take medicine? It still shows untreated, but I see no way through health bills to make him grab medicine.

My other question has to do with population. I still have yet to get another colony member after a few month's, how do I get new colony members? I tried capturing a prisoner from a raider and selecting to recruit, but he died from his wounds :(. The next raid the 2 guys just ran away because of my auto-turrets and pistol guy.

My final question is what is the point of visitors? Random people show up from a neighboring faction and I don't get the point lol? They just wander around my colony and leave after a while..
