Mods / [MOD REQUEST] Gates and doors

Since I haven't found such mod around, could anyone make a mod that makes... more doors? Or just bigger ones?

I mean, this 1x1 door isn't really suitable for main colony gate IMHO. We are having embrasures lying around, barbed wires flying everywhere but still no suitable colony gate. Just door 3x1 or 4x2 or something like that, which Your flicker could manually open and close (they wouldn't open and close themselves, heavy gates doesn't have time for that). Relatively more sturdy and costly.

My HACKERMAN skills are not enough for this task, but it doesn't seem really undoable. Anyone? Please?

Help / Need help with resource generation

Hi there,

Since A13 came out, I was really a huge fan of fueled equipment - stove and power generator. Although they are powered with a primitive wood logs, this fancy drop icon when they're hungry indicates that this is clearly not an end of their power making capabilities. They also became pretty useless in desert environments, where the trees are, well, not very abundant.

I was thinking about making mod for alternative sources of fuel - charcoal, coal and oil - and those last two outgrew me hard. I can make icons for the items, code .xml files for values (on the basis of existing .xml from other mods/core), but I have really no idea how to spawn oil fields (I wanted the same mechanic as steam geysers - just spawn a non-animated puddle of oil and I will take care of it) or coal (same way as metal veins spawns). This shouldn't be hard, 'cause it is basically just copying existing lines from map generator, but I am so GODDAMIT LAME IN CODING and just don't know where to start and what to copy.

I am getting so frustrated with myself right now, please send help.
