So! I finally managed to get back in to my account. Yay!! Found the files on an external HD and updated the link so it should be working again.
Also found some of my old textures and PSD's and made a download for those as well.

Nothing fancy, just some vanilla body/apparel textures resized to 512x512, cleaned up and saved as PSD with 3 layers (contour, shading and background). All ready for you to get creative without having to worry about the boring stuff.  :)
Made these in preparation for some texturing work and i thought they could be useful to others. At the very least they could save you some time.
At the moment the file contains psd's for bodies, t-shirts, pants, jackets and dusters. Haven't been able to find the parka textures.

- Psd's for an old robot/droid i made that never got used.
- Psd's for the work coveralls from "Labourers apparel" Unfortunately i could not find the hard hat psd's.
- All png's from the "Colonial Marines". Could not find the psd's. Presumed lost for ever *sob*

Mods / Colonial marines PSD's

Hi all!  :)

Back when i made my Colonial marine mod for A8 https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=9225.0 i also uploaded the PSD's for others to use. Today i was thinking about starting work on the mod again but the uploaded files are gone and i can't seem to find them on my computer. Knowing myself i've probably thrown them away by mistake.
If someone have downloaded them and still have them lying around somewhere, i would be very grateful if they could upload them for me.

Help / Weapons crate woes!!

I am trying to add some weapon and medicine crates to my game, but as usual, i have no idea what i'm doing.
I have managed to get them in to the game, and they appear to be working, sort of, but on reload i get a bunch of error messages i dont understand.
I was hoping someone could help me out with a "for dummies" translation and possibly a solution.

Help / Need help with sun lamps

I am trying to modify (for my own use) an existing mod (the Floor Lights mod by Temeez) to add new versions of the lamps as sun lamps. I have downloaded and looked at other mods adding new sun lamps but i cant figure out what exactly in the .def file designates the lamps as sun lamps.
Any help would be appreciated.

Help / Stop time passed from affecting enemy raid size

Is it possible?

I would really like to be able to do this. I like to be able to play for as long as i want, building and improving my colony without having to fill the map with dozens of turrets and kill boxes. I have no interest in escaping the planet, i just want to create a nice colony for my pawns and occasionally defend it from enemy raids. I don't mind a bit of a challenge, but as the game plays now, after a couple of years things just get silly.

I feel myself loosing interest in the game because of this and i really hope there is a way to get around it.  :'(

Outdated / [MOD] (Alpha 8) Labourer Apparel

This mod adds work overalls inspired by BSG's deck crew uniform and two hard hats.

The overalls gives protection against heat damage and some minor protection against sharp and blunt damage. It also gives a nice global work bonus.
The two hard hats (yellow and orange) have different stats with the yellow one being suitable for builders and the orange one giving a boost for miners. Both helmets gives good protection from blunt damage, and has some protection against sharp damage as well.

The .PSD files for the overalls can be found along with the .PSD's for my Colonial Marine mod in this 7.zip

Feel free to use any resources from this mod for your own projects.


How to install:
- Unzip the contents and place them in your RimWorld/Mods folder.

Tiny hotfix. Changed the jumpsuits to cover arms and legs as well as torso. Download the "Apparel_USCMC.7z" file at the bottom of this post and unzip it to "Mods\USCMC\Defs\ThingDefs" Overwrite the old file.

This mod adds Colonial Marine equipment from the alien movies.
Included are:
- M3 Personal Armor (Male, female and hulk. Thin pawns will use the male type armor which works well. I will probably not be adding a Fat type armor, i'm just too lazy.)
- M10 Ballistic helmet
- M41A Pulse Rifle
- T-shirt with "marines" across the chest for all body types.
- Jumpsuits for all body types.

The armors offers a bit less protection than the vanilla power armor but also gives less work speed and movement penalty.
The Jumpsuit gives a small work speed bonus and has some heat protection but can not be worn with the armor. the t-shirt just makes you look badass.
The M41A rifle uses a modified version of Project Armory's M81 def file (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=1950.0) and has pretty much the same stats. I made my own textures though so i wouldn't feel like such a leech.  ::)

I have added a link to download a 7zip containing the .PSD files for the mod. They are a bit of a mess but should help in case anyone wants to change/fix something. Now also contains PSD's for the overalls from my "Labourer Apparel" mod.

Help / Texture sizes

Can i use higher resolution textures for armor and clothing, say 512 for armor instead of 128, or will i just end up with a gigantonormous armor covering half the screen? I am working on a colonial marine mod and though the armor textures look nice in 512 while working, when changing to 128 they just go all... blaaeerghh...    :o
