Hey all, I have problem to transport these little monsters somewhere else, I have crashed on freezing hell hole and I want to move into some more warmer area but there are hills all around me so even fastest route will take me around 20 days to move (in summer). Now how am I supposed to feed wargs if they eat only raw meat?

Is it supposed to happen? Or I am missing something? I can store 75 iron ore on one square (or at least I think 75 is max), yet everybody store it like blind, 4 iron ore on one square, 22 on another, 4 something on another aaaand I am out of place
Is there some button to rearrange stockpile or I am missing some logic behind it like different material stats/colonist who made it/some personal stats?? This bother me from beginning of rimworld

So I have colonist with 19 crafting and I tried to create numerous things and I had almost no masterwork or legendary quality
but why? Look at my statistic - 10 wooden swords -4 excellent, 2 superior, 1 good, 2 normal
considering this http://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Quality there is 0. something to 1% chance to create normal weapon ...wtf? and more than 25 and 15% to create something above excellent
from 50 weapons I created only one was legendary and around 3 masterwork with 18 and 19 crafting skill
I am doing something wrong?

So I repeled without any problem lot of invasions (some huge ones), I have 11 colonists, all 10+ shooting(thats why only 11, we kill weak ones) all done without single load and now I am besieged by pirates. Nothing special, no armor, they lack any skill and have low numbers (only 9) -now you say, where is problem? Snipers! They are all equiped with sniper rifles ...all of them ... and they are brutally effective
First try
Ordered my men to split into 3 groups and attack their positions from sides( with assault rifles) while they are fixed to line of my own snipers
outcome, both two groups are dead before they reach their range, snipers are decimated
Second try
Two groups armed with mixed weaponry, every group have grenadier
outcome -most dead by instakill
Third try
EVERYBODY is sniper
outcome -everybody dead

...so ... one of them was more far from his group armed with sniper rifle and 0 (yes ZERO) shooting skill and I challenged him to trial by combat by my best soldier in power armor with 16 shooting skill
Mine missed every shot, enemy shot him 2x -in eye(from wiki its 8% chance from head area) and in arm with 0 skill

alt+f4, lot of adrenaline pumping into my blood stream, rage

This is outrageous! My own soldiers cant shoot a thing, but most of the time I have tactical advantage ...skills are just made up or what? They are useless, whole combat system is random dice roll
Now tell me that you planted something into illegal copies so anybody who pirate game have lot weaker soldiers (like ARMA devs made "fade") and this is not true and you send me true copy of rimworld, becasue this is unbelievable

First I want to say HI to all of you, I was playing this game for few hours and its one of the best invested money in game for a very long time for me
As title say, I have few suggestion to combat system -lightly inspired by fallout 2/jagged alliance game my idea about system is where you can fight as someone with big gun or sniper rifle or even with melee weapons, where heavy armor protects but restrain movement and light armor gives you more ability
This idea comes to me when around 8 tribals attacked me with nothing but rocks, they come few squares before my sanbag nest vs 3 col.onists with modern weapons (pistol, garand, garand)
In "reality" they would have all holes in their bodies on min 20m distance but in game they killed my whole crew and lost nobody
garand even on few metres shoot slow and its semi automatic rifle, like shooter is fully aiming on max distance and try to fit small dot(target) into his ironsights, but thats not true on short distance
Here are my ideas
-So what I have in mind is, weapons will shoot slowly on long distance but will have lot faster aiming on shorter distance
-No armor will hurt, one or two bullets from rifle can get down even strong man filled with adrenaline
-ammo, maybe you say its micromanagment, but no, it will add strategy to game -you will think twice if you will spend your expensive ammo on some tribals armed with clubs and will also force to train people in hand to hand combat
also ammo will be scarce and will be expensive to create/buy
-variety of damage types
-armor system, not only modern armors but starting armors like padded vest -protecting from clubs, leather armor -protects from cuts, metal armor -can protects from various damages lot better, armors made from scrap metal, iron, steel, nylon, kevlar, twaron, dyneema, futuristic alloys for power armors ..etc
-ability to conserve ammo and set semi-auto fire for automatic weapons
-ofcourse melee weapons, imagine your colonist who spent his life as medieval knights fighting in plate armor with some bandits in scrap armor made from tires with machetes, axes and primite gunpowder weapons, bullets are bouncing from him and he is cutting them down like a pro :-)
Crazy possibilities of this "from medieval to space" on "mad max" like planet are great
-maybe attachments on guns -like bayonets, scopes, etc
-Crafting with quality levels -similar to Gnomoria
there is difference between armor made by somebody who just randomly glued scrap together and master who made lammellar armor form it in his modest workshop
-I had lot more but I forgot them hehe
