Bugs / [1.0] Caravan Forming, Days of Food 0

I've loaded a few food mods into the game. And the Form caravan days of food will not calculate any modded foods or raw foods added to the game.

As you see I have plenty of foods. And the game see's that you can eat it (has nutrition or days to rot). It's just not Adding it to the Days of Food at the top.

Anyone else seen this issue?

Cupro's Drinks



This is an Updated version of cupro's Drinks mods.
I have updated the Alcohol system to use my version of the Universal Fermenter by Kubouch. 



Version 1.0a!


Description:

This mod adds the ability to brew sodas and new types of alcohol.


Items Added:
Basics:
Syrup: Required sweetener for sodas. Requires 10 corn, agave, or berries. Bulk job available at the brewery.
Frass Root: A root crop used to make root beer. Cannot be used to make food.
Alcohol Crate: A crate for storing 75 bottles of alcohol - stacks up to 2 for easy storage. Can be created at and packed/unpacked at the Crafting Spot.


Soda:
Agave Soda: Requires 20 Agave and 1 syrup; makes 6.
Berry Soda: Requires 20 Berries and 1 syrup; makes 6.
Root Beer: Requires 5 Wood, 10 Frass root, and 1 syrup; makes 6.
Chocolate Soda: Requires 2 chocolate, 3 milk, and 1 syrup; makes 6.

Alcohol Precursors:
Rice Mash: Milled, soaked, and cooked rice. Made at the brewery.
Undistilled Vodka: Fermented potato liquid. Made in the fermenting barrel.
Corn Wort: Wort made from corn. Made at the brewery.
Wine Must: Pressed fruit juice. Made at the brewery.
Smokeleaf Tincture: A tincture of vodka and smokeleaf leaves. Made at the brewery.

Alcohol:
Nigori: An alcoholic beverage made by fermenting rice mash.
Vodka: An alcoholic beverage distilled from undistilled vodka.
Whiskey: An alcoholic beverage made by fermenting corn wort.
Wine: An alcoholic beverage made by fermenting wine must.
Green Dragon: An alcoholic beverage made by aging smokeleaf tincture.

Energy:
Coffee: A delicious preparation of roasted and ground coffee beans. Pleasurable to drink, and it restores 5% rest.
Dead-eye Coffee: A strong preparation of roasted and ground coffee beans. Not pleasurable to drink, but it restores 10% rest.
Thrumbo Energy: Energy drink to perk up colonists. Restores 30% of Rest.
Koka: An uplifting soda popular throughout the galaxy. Cannot be crafted.
Peppi: A stronger version of Koka, Peppi is known for its stimulating properties. Restores 5% of Rest. Cannot be crafted.

Objects Added:
Fermenting Barrel: Allows alcohol brewing.
A Drinks Table for make sodas and drinks at. Can be used without electricity. Powering it will make work done at it 30% faster.
Coffee Plant for growing raw coffee beans.

Vegetable Garden

The main piece of my project! Will have smaller bits of other mods built in. But tried keep the size down and still keep the spirit of the garden when used alone

Tier Crop Growth:
Starter Crops

-potatoes - grows well anywhere
-corn - long growing with high yields
-rice - fast growing
-barley - immune to blight and used to make ale in the drinks mod.

Tier 1 research "special property plants"
-snow beats - grows well anywhere, does not die from cold snaps
-lentils - meat substitute
-beans - many uses in the gourmet garden
-Olives - does not destroy plant when harvest, yield after first is faster

Tier 2 research fruits
-watermelon, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, agave

Tier 3 research fruit trees
-Apples, Bananas, Oranges, Peaches

Wild plants:
-Apples, Cherries, Bananas, Coconuts, Dates, Figs, Pineapple, Cloudberries, Gooseberries.
-Mushrooms are grown in the wild and in hydropnics Can be used as a meat substitute.


Ingredients Plants:
-Coffee and Tea

New Wood:
-Bamboo fast growing wood
-ironwood very beautiful but not for fuel


Other Features:
-Growable Grass
-Silage Animal Feed
-Bulk Meals: Makes 4x Simple, Fine, Lavish, Kibble, and Pemmican.

The event to name the settlement /group never comes. When I use dev tools to force it I get an error.

Heated Sunlamps ARE BACK!

Simple small mod that adds 3 sizes of sunlamps that are also small heaters!

Alpha 13 releases of JuliaEllie's Soylent Green from the Apothecarius.

Alpha 17 :

PhileasFogg's release of Soylent Production:
A more advance version of the mod.

- There aren't Soylent Cola and Soylent Medicine anymore. You can produce "Soylent Blue" (Animal Meat), "Soylent Purple" (Insect Meat), "Soylent Red" (Fruits & Vegetables) and "Soylent Yellow" (Animal Products) instead.
- You need to butcher the corpses (humans, insects and other animals) before you can "transfer" the meat into the corresponding "Soylent Type". So you will have some mood debuff.
- You can only process five pieces of ressource per action. So production time has been gone up quite a lot.
- Additionally "Soylent Products" aren't that OP anymore: one junk of meat / fruit / vegetable will be one piece of Soylent; Nutrition was reduced from 0.15 to 0.05.
- "Soylent Products" will rot eventually. But before they will last very long - even longer than pemmican (50% longer). And if you refrigate them, they will theoretically last forever.
- Research costs have been increased and electricity has been integrated as a research prerequesition.

But I also integrated some simplifications (and so raised the OPness of this mod):
- All "Soylent Products" will stack up to 500 items per tile.
- There is an additional research step: "Advanced Soylent Production". After researching that, you can mass produce all "Soylent Products" (100 pieces instead of five, at a 35% reduced production time). Also you will be able to produce "Survival Meals" out of "Soylent Products" and/or pemmican (at a higher ressource cost than regular "Survival Meal" production).

EnviroSeed SK

EnviroSeeds is a continuation of the seed requirements from Vendan's "Seeds Please" mod. A joint effort between Skyarkhangel and dismar. Please see the History and Credits for everyone who has worked on this project up to us.

EnviroSeeds require you to use Seeds to grow you crops. They can be Bought from the bulk merchant and occasionally drop when you harvest from wild plants.


It this version only the core plants harvest seeds.


Special Note for People using the "Prepare Careful" mod. You will have to go into my mod's def folder and delete the Folder called "MapGeneratorDefs" for Prepare Carefully to work. Then make sure to start with seeds or you wont have any. I'm no longer running two versions since you can just delete a folder to make seeds compatible.

Alpha 11 Aragas updated and changed some of the coding. Leucetius cleaned up a lot of issues in the coding and released a fully working version.
Alpha 12 Skyarkhangel updated to the new version 12. dismar rewrote and updated the xml code.

skyarkhangel wrote a new version of the coding to the seeds project into the Enviro mod. And then sent that to me to write a new mod using the "wild seeds" and that is were this mod picks up.

Bugs / Floating Windows

When selecting the grow zone menu with my mod, which adds a lot of new things to grow, the floating window is cutting off items at the bottom of each column break. I've seen this in every version of alpha 12. Changing the resolution of the game changes what is cut off on the float menu.

The vegetable garden adds new tiers of plants to research and grow. New meals, ways to cook them, some for health, and some for joy. New drugs. Food preservation. Cloth and leather production. New medicines production. Resources that can be renewed. And Tools used to enhance the way you grow and produce plants in the game.

The vegetable garden adds :

  • New drugs for Joy. Alcohols, Candies, Tobacco, Coffee,Tea, other Drinks.
  • Alcohol Barrel Produtcion for many types of drinks.
  • Food preservation. Salting, Canning
  • Cloth and leather production. Cloth production, Salavaging Appearal
  • New medicines. Flu and Pain medicine. Tribal Meds.
  • Bulk Medicine recipes.
  • Resource plants that can be used for renewed resources. 
  • Tools for growing. Soil enhancement, Sun lamps of types and sizes, Hydroponics.
  • Growable Grass

I have added a lot of Patching to my mod here is a list of mods that if loaded change the way vegetable garden loads:

  • Cuprodrinks : blends his and my coffee together. Then Garden  adds def's for all my fruit soda's into the game and recipes to make them, from the old Soda Garden mod. You can thank Cupro for added that patch!
  • Animal Feed Trough : adds silage to the trough.
  • Fishing Industry : adds sushi recipes onto the stoves. Fine meals that act like a 4x bulk recipe.
  • Fallout : adds the plants you grow to my recipes.
  • Misc.  Bees 'n' Honey : Adds the mead to the alcohol barrel system.
  • T's Mods : should work well together a lot of defs blend and expand on each other. Tho you might have to change mod load order to get desire the effect from each mod.
  • Medieval Times : Ingrendents and recipe added between the different tables in the mods. His cheese changed to reflect mine. Bamboo and Bio fuels shared in many of the worktables.
  • TropiCKAPP Rainforest : Fruits added to the fruits cateogory in my mod. Unique name given to his fruits. Which will add it to a bunch of my recipes. Taro added to pickling recipe.

F A Q :

  • Loading into a save game is not recommended! You never know how it can effect the save. Once Any Mod of this size is loaded into a game it cannot be removed once saved. So backup before trying.

  • Oven is defaulted to Granite. You can build it out of any stone. You just have to have it in your stockpile first.

  • For composter you need composter starter made at the butcher table.

  • For alcohol you need a starter made at the brewery table. But Vodka is made backwards. Potatoes into the barrel.
    Then the pawns will load the proper barrel and poof done.


Big note on resource plants.

Resource Plant require A LOT of work to make. They are an END game solution to running out of resources. As of now it takes :

Research the plants 1500
Grow times on plants are 16+ days
Sow skill is high to plant them
Research time on the Smelter to melt them 1700
Crafting skill of 12+ to then smelt them
