Mods / [Mod Request] Job Icons

A mod that has icons showing what jobs the pawn is prioritized/prioritizing next to their name or above their head like if they are hunting show maybe a rifle above their head, gardening would be a plant, construction a hammer, etc.

Any mods that add something like that?

I have a decent colony which is having some drug issues... I had 2 dedicated haulers which I got hooked on go-juice so they could be uber haulers
for raid aftermath (I shove them in crypto-sleep when they are done) but since they've been hooked for so long and amassed excessive tolerances which has lead to both of them overdosing and one getting brain damage (Chemical) and I'm trying to get them in and out of rahab as soon as possible to help "reset" their tolerance. Would boosting "Blood Filtration" increase recovery speed? or am I just stuck with these people going all barbaric til the time they finish rehab rolls around?

If I have 20 colonists, 15 in colony A and 5 in Colony B.

Would they both recieve the same raid sizes or would Colony B have more leniency and get smaller raids? Reason why I ask is that I just captured alot of people whom are fairly specialized but I cant sustain them at my colony so I'm thinking about just recruiting and sending them out on a "manifest destiny"

I've been looking at the scenario editor recently and realized how much potential it has and cant help but imagine how many people have made scenarios that are unique and challenging in their own ways. A feature to allow people to share scenarios in-game and maybe allow people to rate them would be a great addition in my book!

Feel like I've probably overlooked a thread where people already share their scenarios probably, if there is please link!

Game crashed when it tried to auto-save after I had deleted my temporary settlement which was for a colonist to get food mid trip, when he got the food he needed I just grabbed everything he needed/had before arriving and instructed him to go to home base, when he got off the map I then deleted the temporary settlement, everything was good till the autosave happened and the game locked up, never recovered

No log file but I'm sure its re-creatable.

Mods / [Mod request] Hidden trades/skills

Was on another post that was talking about a mod to remove/give a choice to accept or reject wanderers and thought of the idea that anyone that enters your map that is not your people would have their skills hidden unless you socialize with the pawn directly or if you interrogate them in prison, there could be a threshold that when they are too un-happy, they will not say anything.

I think a mod like this would be cool because it kinda feels mediocre just looking at all your raiders and just picking one or 2 to save or to bludgeon and pray they go down. I think it would be cooler to just detain and interrogate prisoners about their skills to reveal some passions/traits/everything they have/can do. Only issue I forsee is you could probably just straight up recruit someone to reveal their stats so interrogation could be a pre-requisite to recruitment?

Just an idea I wanted to throw out there because like I said, always looking at raiders stats for good candidates to be part of the colony.

This idea could probably go in well with some kind of prison expansion or that one mod that adds guest-beds and socialization with factions that are visiting

Mods / [Mod Request] Better healing priority / self-patch

I've had many instances where my doctor has let a person die because he is always wanting to patch bruises over that wound on that neck that is pretty grievous and is gonna kill in the next I don't know.... 2 hours? Any mods which sets priorities to "Stabilize" the patient before fixing things that are not life threatening?

The other mod request is some kind of self patch up for when a colonist isn't downed but wounded in a fight, Just something simple to reduce bleeding by a quarter so they can last a bit longer without medical attention so I can avoid diverting everyone to defend the doctor while they are operating on him mid-combat.

Not sure if it can be possible with the current state of the game but maybe a raid function with possible missions from passerby ships?
A way you can open the map and choose from mini-camps to city's to raid and organize people to send on it that can travel real time with either randomly generated locations or pre-made maps.
It would be fun to at least wander a bit from always trying to expand when there is either no room to expand or your just not creative at making a base (Like me).

I've gotten 3 meteor showers playing and they light the entire map up..... 4 gigs of ram isnt enough to support all of that but If I pause the lag stops so I am lead to believe that non-animated fire could help /:

Mods / [Mod Idea] More joyous activities

Maybe add radios with music? Maybe 8 bit music could fit the games atmosphere to increase happiness.
Maybe some traits such as psychopath could get joy from shooting things, Add/modify traits to seem a bit more fitting for their personality.
Maybe have some kind of relation ships going like friends or couples so there can be extra mood modifiers Like (New friend: "Colonist name" Seems like a nice guy/gal..... Got to get to know them better!) or something like that
Add maybe some kind of stand that can have a colonist be the entertainer.
Add maybe corn hole
Tame animals where people may have a permanent positive buff for a pet Which could decrease joy loss or can simply be a activity
Drawing which can either be visually seen or just simply text
Nice treats like candy which may decay the more a person eats/uses them.
Edit 1:
Add some kind of arena where prisons can fight to death/KO for entertainment of SOME colonists.



Note* Im just throwing alot of ideas that are on my mind atm to anyone that may like them. If any of these are already mods, I would like to know :P. I may add more ideas
