Support / A16 Blue Screen of Death

Hello!

Since the last update after a hour or so of playing I get a blue screen of death.  I can play GTA V all day or other games and have zero problems but as soon as I play Rimworld I know It'll happen.  It's happened everytime I've played in my last 5 sessions.

I do realise it could be a hardware problem that Rimworld specifically taps into, or a dodgy mod maybe but hopefully we can narrow it down.  I've run a memtest and my RAM seems fine.

Support / Payment Issue

Hello,

2 Problems.  I already had purchased the core game and wanted to upgrade it to 'name in the game'.  At some point with my paypal payment it changed from dollars to pounds.  I also sent an e-mail about the game upgrade and dollars to pounds issue and have not heard back, that was a day ago and I keep hearing about how fast the replies are... so thought I'd post here just to check if something is wrong.

Hope its resolved soon.

Ideas / Millitary / Medical Update

In general we select some of our colonists to be soldiers via the outfits and weapon choices, some of us run crack squads, some of us build epic military style basis etc etc.  So I kinda feel we should have some form of ranking system for our better soldiers and keep track of their kills.  Hunting animals should not count of course.  Maybe we can have a button also where we can instantly select all our soldiers (if not already!) and send them to the hot spot or a flag point when things kick off they drop everything they are doing and head there.

Also I feel the medical side of the game is really great but I like the idea of the option to be able call the other colonies and such and offer my medical services for friendship gain or financial.  I know its now possible to heal and fix up wounded travelers but lets call them up and see if they need any help!  Maybe have them call us asking for our help because they have X amount of wounded!  (Perhaps a little Theme Hospital like where you chose to accept or not, failure coming also at a price of friendship)

Ideas / NPC Ally version version 2?

The NPC play potentially a huge part in our game and yet there is no real interaction with them.  At best we can send them a ton of silver and they'll come send some reinforcements 'if' we don't have the capabilities to deal with an enemy attack.

Would like to see ...

Trade Options
Social Interaction (Invite to eat our food / to dinner)
Medical Aid (Heal their wounded if they get injured instead of trying to help and get made their enemy as it currently stands)
Medical Treatment (Requests to send over some of their people and we offer medical help from Flu to complex operations (Limb/kidney replacements) etc etc)
Help them with their enemies (Obviously we can't visit them (yet?) but we could set up ambushes on our map and fight their enemies with them there)
Swap colonists / Immigration

All of this would be based upon your current relationship and performing any / some of the above would of course increase your score with them.

Anyway if you can get this done by the end of week that will be fine.  Thanks!  ;)

Help / Daylily Problem

I keep getting this screen flash up but no sooner do I send this one away then it comes back.

However I did start reading a lot of mod files and looking at the graphics files and have built up a better understanding but I'm struggling to see specifically what is going on here or how to fix it.  As far as I'm aware Daylilys are not a mod extra but more core and I can't see any of the mods that have messed around with it... I've just downloaded the main Alpha 3 mods from the community and not gone crazy with them or anything!  lol



Any help will be greatly appreciated.   ;D

Hello!

I really hope I haven't missed this somewhere but I'm after one of these for my sniper team.  See Wayne is a pretty good shot and a vet and can hit a target 20 squares away pretty well but he deserves a sniper rifle so he can live by his 'One Shot One Kill' mantra.  Katy his spotter usually has a pistol and currently has to help though ideally she would be there just in case Wayne misses and something gets in close and blows it away.  In their spare time they hunt Muffalo together too! Who said romance was dead?

It needs to have a greater range then a regular weapon, one shot death damage and a slower cool down as I don't want to unbalance the game with a Godly weapon.  I'm sure it'll miss alot but I wanna be jumping up and down yelling "Oh yeah!" when I one shot kill someone! 

Loving the game, the hours I spend playing it are silly!  And just when I think I've had enough a new mod comes out or a update and it puts a new spin on the game and its like brand spanking new again!  :D
