Rimworld is a largely story-driven game. I think it's surprising there isn't a way to review major events which occurred in the colony. The history tab shows when raids have occurred, but not how big the raids were, if anyone was seriously injured, etc.
The idea is fairly simple: give a breakdown of major events which occurred during a colony's history. Raids are recorded in detail on the save files already, including the names of everyone who was in the raid. Why not have a tab which can display that information? I want to know if it was tribals who raided on day 5 or some other faction. I want to know if someone died of infection or a blow to the head.
It'd be neat to have additional features, such as recording when a toxic fallout started and ended, farm animals tamed, etc.
Thanks for reading! Input is appreciated!
