Seriously, i am loosing more colonists to friendly fire than to enemy fire, a brawler get close to my line and my colonists shoot the other ones, they dont check for friendly fire or line of sight, it is a slugfest.

It is annyoing and unrealistic that colonists care so less for friendly fire. plz fix that.

So....Hayhouse was a raider that followed an attack at Sparta colony (Rimworld Alpha 12, Hardcore mod v2.5), he was a sexual dynamo and well endowed, being blessed with a nice body and superb people skills. He and his fellows were caught in the dead zone of manned turrets and heavily armed colonists. Sadly, the colony wasnt ready for so many prisioners and had improvise a prison block in a corridor. So many prisioners, in the dark, on the ground and crowded ended up with several infections and a few deaths. In order to save poor Hayhouse the colony medics had to amputate both os his arms and a lung. While recovering he was caught and punched down in a prision riot, but survided, poor Hayhouse couldnt even fight back without any arms. Shortly after the colony leader decided to release him. On his way out poor Hayhouse got jumped by 2 feather raptors, downed and mutilated again, without arms he couldnt even fight back. Not willing to risk his colonists the leader of Sparta decided to use Hayhouse as a bait and mortar barrage the raptors, trying to maim and wound them. The shells surprisingly didnt hurted poor Hayhouse (now lacking a nose and an ear thanks to the raptors).

So, a rescue mission was scheduled, the raptors were taken down, Hayhouse was rescued and treated for his wounds. Poor Hayhouse survided and got no adicional infections. At this point, the perfect body Hayhouse was now missing both arms, a lung, his nose and an ear. After so much suffering he went beserk, but couldnt let his anger flow, as he got no arms to punch anyone. Poor, frustrated Hayhouse.

A new prison block as hastly built and the survivors were transfered there. Hayhouse got the admiration of the colonists of Sparta, and instead of releasing him, it was decided to fix him and recruit him. First step was to give poor Hayhouse 2 metal arms, but without his nose, ear and a lung, the once attractive raider now looked like a monster.

And stayed like that for several months, angered Hayhouse just didnt wanted to join, so the next step on the fixing was taken. Using Biomatter extracted from dead bodies a new nose, ear and lung was grow and installed on him. That was enough to convince him to join.

Shortly 2 prosthetic arms were made and installed on poor Hayhouse.

Thats the tale of poor, unlucky Hayhouse, mutilated, humiliated, but a survivor, in a Rimworld.

On this (screenshot) I had temperatures as low as -59C. It was a race to craft parkas, tuques and boots for everyone. I was low on wood and metal, so I just couldnt make enough heat sources to keep pace with the drops. Inside was around 1 to 10C with slightly below zero on the rooms (even with vents). My indoor crops died.

And yours? I am curious about other people cold snaps and heat waves

So, I couldnt wait for the game to launch on steam an bought it direct from you guys. As a heavy steam user i am kind of lost. I got an e-mail with a download link, does this link ever expire? If so, how can i ask for a new one? When the game is updated i can download the new version from the same link? How many times can i download the game?
