So, i was just messing in a test save and suddenly i got an idea.

"Let's make a spaceship"

So, i managed to make this and called it "The Octopus."

So, once again Cassandra goes random...

First, two dromedarys joined the colony, i made a pen for productive animals
Then, Kimmy found an artefact, i activated it and suddanly, a group of scytchers attacked.
One of the scytchers tried to shoot over the fence, psyche! I replaced the fences with walls using debug commands.
The scytchers fucked up all of my animals but Kimmy went and did the frontier revenge.
A red fox named Cassandra miscarried due to poor health, that sucks.
Then, a group of huskys joined.

So, today Cassandra Classic tried to play a little bit of Randy Random.

A rather sizeable group of alphabeavers appeared, out people are currently taking care of those.
Then, we saw a drop pod coming down from the sky. It had some Synthread in it.
Then a manhunting group of elephants came, there were only two so this should be easy.
Also another drop pod came, my colonists saw it and it was Alpaca Wool, but our storages are cramped, we need to solve that problem before the wool disentigrates.
*huge amounts of gunshot sounds and elephant screamings*
*radio dispatch* Uhhh... This is Kimmy here, both of the Elephants are downed, should we kill them or? *radio dispatch*
*radio dispatch* What is their health status? *radio dispatch*
*radio dispatch* Roger, i am off to check their injuries *footsteps*
...
*radio dispatch* Okay... One of the elephants has been shot in the eye and the other one seems to have a bad back, wich do you wanna save? *radio dispatch*
*radio dispatch* Kill the one with the bad back and let's try to get the second one to join our colony *radio dispatch*
*radio dispatch* Roger. *radio dispatch*
*two large bursts of gunshots and elephant screaming*
*radio dispatch* This elephant is done for, we still need to take care of the aphabeavers *radio dispatch*
*radio dispatch* Send out a medic to take care of the one with the scarred eye *radio dispatch*
*radio dispatch* Actually, hold on... I am the medic. I'll take it from here. *radio dispatch*

Stories / Dumb chicken and a grenade

So once a poison ship landed right in the middle of my animal area, so i sent out John to destroy it with grenades. While in the middle of destruction, a chicken carelessly wandered into the grenade's explosion radius and got blown up. Fortanetly, the chicken somehow survived with both legs torn off and a heavily damaged body. Now it has peg legs.  :(

So once, i had a muffalo marked for slaughtering and while a worker was going past the muffalo off to repair a popped cable, the marked muffalo nuzzled him.
I had to take a moment to appriciate what the muffalo did, and then let it live.

I also feel like turning the muffalo bionic, like i did with an elephant that now hauls and kicks ass.

So, it started out like this. The pirates from Lance Outfit wanted to raid us, and they bumped into a wild thrumbro that did not have a nice day. The thrumbro began attacking the raiders, but the raiders downed the thrumbro in numbers leaving it there with a death sentence. After the raiders struck our base (and failed catastrophically) i sent out my best medic to take care of the wild thumbro. After a few minutes of healing, suddenly the thumbro and Kit developped a bond. and suddenly, the thrumbro became one of ours. She named the thrumbro Grover.

A mod that would add tasers for taking care of prisoners the fast and non-lethal way.

Research : Basic taser
Requires : Electricity, Hi-tech Research bench
Tech level : Industrial
Time to research : 750
Description : A hand-held taser for zapping an attacker at melee range that causes incapacitation, with a much lower chance of the attacker dropping dead. Can be made at a machining table


Each taser has a cooldown of 250 seconds (that goes down even when the user is not drafted, can also be modified by taser quality)
Any taser has a base of 1% chance to kill the attacker (chance can be modified by quality)
Minor malufunction chance (base is 5%, can be modified by both quality and health of the taser)
Major malufunction chance (Base is 1%, any taser with the quality good or better will not be able to do major malufunction)

Malufunctions
Minor : The taser will not fire/tase but will still need to cooldown.
Major : (Happens only with basic taser) The taser will take some damage and tase both the user and the attacker.

Research : Ranged taser
Required : Electricity,Basic taser,High-tech research bench
Time to research : 1500
Tech level : Industrial
Description : Like a basic taser, except it shoots out a wire that zaps the attacker.

Any taser has a base of 1% chance to kill the attacker (chance can be modified by quality)
Minor malufunction chance (base is 5%, can be modified by both quality and health of the taser)

Research : Taser gauntlet
Required : Electricity, Basic taser, High-tech research bench, Multi analyzer thingy, Complex clothing
Tech level : Spacer
Time to research : 2000 (4000 if your tech level is industrial)

A type of clothing that can be worn, like the gloves that come from the "Mediveal times" mod, except when worn, punching has a 75% chance to trigger the taser effect.

Taser gauntlets have a 300 second cooldown instead of 250.

So, one morning my Warg apparently developped a heart attack. I tought she was gonna die, but i realized i had a bionic heart inside my pile of prosthetics. I ordered Toby to install the thing and then she was fine. ;)

Help / Question : Fastest pawn in-game

What is the fastest pawn in the game?
Because i want to modify that pawn with Bionics and make it even faster!

My record was with a Chincilla and i managed to give it 12.10 cells per second movement speed.
But i am looking for more speed.

I increased the chincilla's speed by adding bionic legs and a bionic spine. causing a moving offset by 150% (100 + 150 = 250% total)

I used the "A dog said..." mod to add animal bionics.

Also, it needs to be blue.

Do you ever look at a colonist and wonder what is going on inside their head?

So, if you land on a spot and the map says there is an enemy base nearby, will it increase the chance of getting raids?

Same with friendly bases, will it increase chances of visitors appearing?

Q : What happens when a roof collapses?
A : A roof collapses when there isn't any support holding that roof.

Q : What happens when a roof falls on something?
A : If it is an item, it will take moderate damage. If it is a colonist, then they might get hurt, downed or even killed (depends where they got hit)

Q : How do "Overhead Mountain" roofs work?
A : If it collapses, on the place where it did, it will leave "Collapsed Rocks" Those work like a wall, preventing the Overhead Mountain from collapsing over and over and over.

Q : What happens when a Pawn is hit by the "Collapsed Rocks" ?
A : I haven't tested but it might work like the ordinary "Constructed Roof"

This is not really a mod, it is an addon that adds 2 Cybernetic Humands to the "Prepare Carefully" mod.

This "mod" requires "Prepare Carefully" and "EPOE Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering" in order to work propperly

Bugs / "Hypothermic" tortoises

During cold winter and when there are turtles on the map, the debug says that there are hypothermic animals. Since there is winter, and the freezing is called "Hypothermia" i sense that this could be a joke.
