As topic, I'd like to see the "Automatically Select Food and Medicine" option in the Caravan Formation dialogue to be unselected by default. It's really annoying to have to go into the food and medicine tab every time, uncheck the box, and remove all the auto junk before setting up exactly what I want to take.

No, you're not taking half the hay, glitterworld medicine, and packaged survival meals with you when we have 500 perfectly good pemmican slowly rotting in the shed.

I would MUCH rather prefer the option to auto-fill food and meds be disabled by default, and have the toggle to ON be the option, instead of vice versa. I've seen other people complaining/commenting about it, but no one seems to have a solution yet, other than to just do it manually every time. I can't see any easy way to change it myself, and I'm not nearly versed enough in Rimworld core code to alter that kind of functionality.

Now I know that we have EPOE and all that goodness, but sometimes you just want something a little simpler.
Is there an easy way I could add recipedefs for Bionic and Prosthetic parts to the Machining Table using XML?

I'm not even requesting anything as complicated as a new workbench or new parts -- EPOE goes way overboard in both categories, in my opinion.
Gating with research or medical+crafting skill requirements would be nice, but even that isn't essential. I just want to be able to craft my own bionics instead of waiting 2 years for a trader to have the part I need.

Adogsaid already does something like this for Animal Bionics, simply adding the recipes to the Machining Table; I figure it couldn't be much of a jump to add pre-existing recipes for the scant few Human Bionics, but I could be wrong.

Anyone have any suggestions, or can you push me in the right direction? Or even just a list of the internal references to the bionic human parts, so I know what to name them? I'm a rank amateur at Rimworld modding, but I've kludged together a few private custom XML tuning mods by hijacking and tweaking other mods' code, so I have a vague idea of what I'm getting into. Thank you!
