This bug is easy to reproduce.
My only mods were ModSwitch, HugsLib, Harmony and RimSaves.
Healroots do not die, even if the temperature is -36°.
I do not think that this is intended.
Since this is an easy to reproduce bug, I don't have any log files or saves included. But if you need those, I can surely add them here.
