Hello, i don't know if there is already a mod that does that (i didn't find it) but is there any Modder interested in doing this?
Currently Synthread and Hyperweave are extremely rare, in my last 4 colonies i didn't see a single Orbital Trader selling these two materials.
My idea:
A new Workbench: Hyperweave and Synthread are extremely advanced textiles and the secrets of its production are known only to the Glitterworld Cultures, so this new workbench would have to look Glitter-tech-y and have a name that sounds technologic. This bench would require a lot of power, due to the process of creating these materials.
2 New Research Topics: Synthesizing and Hyperweaving. These 2 new Topics would be very long and be Spacer level.
Synthesizing would unlock the new workbench and Synthread crafting. Hyperweaving would unlock Hyperweaving crafting.
Possible Recipes: Synthread would require a moderate amount of cloth and a long crafting process. Hyperweave would require Synthread, a small amount of plasteel, some silver and a medium crafting process.
I hope i've explained my idea clearly, and that someone is interested in making this
