A prisoner I had was set to release but still had an operation (Administer Flake) set. My warden escorted him outside and released him but then my doctor had time to do the "operation" and just as the prisoner was about to leave the map, my doctor grabbed him and lead him back to his prison bed to do the operation. Now the prisoner is still set to "Release" but it seems that the game thinks he was already released.
Now the warden is not bringing the prisoner food and not releasing him. Operations still work.
The warden has time! Also the warden's zone is set to Unrestricted, he can reach the prisoner etc. He has no problems interacting with other prisoners.
