When are we going to get a new trailer for the full game (coming out 17th October) I'm trying to convince a friend to buy the game.

I've made the same suggestion a while back, basically larger doors that take longer to open and close, much more durable than normal door and much bigger (3-5 times larger) the fact that it takes longer to open and close would make running away from raiders into a gated community and give yourself time to prepare to fight back more feasible.

Just really big doors.

What if all the player friendly factions all decided to create a massive temporary trading spot which the player could go to (it would be a world mission which would require travelling) and it would be filled with many traders from different factions.

The player can only stay there for a day before leaving so that all the npc dont starve to death

I hate it when a colonist or other random pawn is left diabled and completely helpless because they have lost both their legs {Which can be fixed with bionic legs} or spine which puts the pawn out of action for ever.

So why not have wheelchairs? In a world where robots exist and genetically modified animals are a thing, surely at least ONE person thought of creating a wheelchair.

General Discussion / Deadfall trap too weak

Deadfall traps are supposed to kill animals or at least injure so badly that they can barely move, instead they bleed a little (rarely ever fatal in my experience) and keep going. one of my colonies was almost destroyed by two manhunter cougars that just walked through my deadfall trap defence(one had scratch scars on both eyes because of the deadfall trap but it didnt down it down by that much)

All im saying is that deadfall trap should either give more damge in one area or give little damge over most of the animal that fall on it

With the addition of quest from outlanders and tribes i think it would be nice if you could get aproached by a group of pawns from no faction asking you to help them with little things like enaugh food for the winter and a few weopens.
Just a small isea ::)

The ability to change a pawns haircut, the highter up the pawns art level is the better haicut they can give.
Would give pawns with high art skills more purpose

Im able to beat the raids with ease so far but i find annoying that i end up killing most of the pawns attacking me i try to capture them but always end up killing them,ive only got 4 colonists so i know its because of the population cap, i just want to capture,heal and release them.

Btw-one of my colonists killed 4 people in his first 13 days one of which was a kind 18 year old :'(

I think we should add borders to rimworld which would make going to certain areas (pirate territory) dangerous and more likely to get ambushed by a big group while being a bit more safe in friendly outlander land.

Pawns could have more things to say than "had a deep talk" and "insulted"[im aware theres a few more] it would be nice if they could say things like "talked about dead friend" and "talked about hunting" and many more as it would add depth to the game.

Raiders should ask the colony for supplies and if we refuse they fight, if not they take our stuff and leave, this could be like the caravan demand we currently have but on a bigger scale.

We have the psychopath trait so why not add an empathetic trait?
More traits would create more diverse personalities which would make rimworld stories better.
