I am looking a seed that is mostly mountain (overhead)

I am looking for a seed with a water boarder one one or two sides

I keep seeing "I play on the largest MAP SIZE." all over the board.

What are they talking about?   World Coverage 30%, 50%???

Please enable the game to show us where a roof tile needs to be.

So many times I will build a room, and all but one or two roof tiles will be installed.

So I have to micro a pawn, furiously right clicking until I find the missing roof.

Rimworld needs a FUSE to limit ZZZT events.


I don't care how expensive it is to make.   I hate ZZZT !!!!

It is excessively punishing for someone with tons of batteries.

With the potential to kill pawns (fire) and destroy a large swath of my base.

Bugs / BUG: U.I.

What the circumstances were.

Set the U.I. to X1.25 scale or larger

What happened?

Every freaking AUTO-SAVE, the U.I. goes back to 1X, then resizes  (Time to shrink, enlarge is anywhere from .25 seconds to 1 second)  This causes: Eye-strain, head-aches, and violent seizures!

What you expected to happen?

The U.I. to stay X1.25 everytime, all the time

Steps we can follow to make the bug appear on our machine?

Set your U.I. to X1.25 or larger, have lots of pawns, animals(12pawns, 30+animals).....wait for an auto-save!

I guess some of it is that the game is not fully optimized yet, my state of the 2012 computer, no SSDD, etc.......

Bugs / Animals stave (with loads of food)

I have seen this complaint before, just want to make sure it is posted as a BUG

Constantly get X miscarried, staving, malnutrition, etc.. (Thrumbos, birds, elephants)

ESPECIALLY when I have many animals (over 30)

I have:

No mods, and with U HUGS' Allow tool

Animal are, with food inside the animal are.

The foods are: Kibble, Pemmican, hay, insect jelly.

The animals WILL eat this, IE not meat/corpse eaters

Normal game play

What happened.

After 30+ animals, some forget to eat???

What you expected to happen.

I expect animals to have a sense of self-preservation! eat so they don't die!

Steps we can follow to make the bug appear on our machine

Spawn alot of animals, spawn a 9X6 food pile with the above foods

My wife wears my shirts alot...when I am dead, I imagine she will continue to.   IRL she will be getting a mood buff from wearing my shirt (D)
......so why not add it to the game?

Ideas / pause disasters when away from main base

When away from "home" on a caravan, I would like the option to pause my main base.

It is too much for me to switch back and forth, I can't micro both places, and it is slow (pc slow, switching back and forth)

Example:

No raids
No infestations
No mad animals
No visitors
No pod crashes
No weather events
No break downs
No Drug OD
No anything that would require micro management


Does everyone know what I mean?

At least put them in a queue, to be executed when I return to base.

I guess I could put everyone in stasis sleep..........

Ideas / Select all Forbidden

I have been taking out surrounding outposts for smiles and fun.

Upon success, there is a weapons room, plus all the dead's weapons, that are Forbidden.

It is a real pain to select them, any thing else in the select box will take preference. (Wood, steel, writhing in pain body, etc)

So I need a select all Forbidden button!

Please and thanks!

PS Double clicking....say a SMG to un-forbid all SMG is too much, because there are SO many different weapon types, does not really save much time

General Discussion / Cant burn animal skeleton

I have an Ibex skeleton near my base.

I can't get it hauled or put in the crematorium.

I made a special storage zone next to the crematorium for it.   Won't haul, "No space"

I made a special burn job for the crematorium.   Won't haul, "no space"

Why does the game have trouble with skeletons?  I have noticed this before with different animals/peoples?


***THE game will let me bury it, but I dont want to!!

I have a WAKEUP junky pawn, he needs a new arm.

I have X2 sith blades, 1 power claw, 2 bionic, and one simple. (ARMS)

When I right click, it says "Cant op, need materials" 

I tried dosing him with wake up, get pretty blue +++, but still cant op!
What am I missing?

Often I get stacks of "1", "3", or other odd number on an item that can be 10 or more stacked deep.

We need to be able to consolidate items in a stack to make space.   Currently, when an item is in its proper storage area, there is little you can do short of deleting the zone and manually hauling.

Ideas / "rot" speed

DOES everyone agree, "rot" speed needs a nerf?

Say for example, I buy 500 meat from an orbital trader.

Two or three stacks are rotting by the time I get it in the fridge.

I am sure it is fine, but it hurts me to see "Muffalo meat 89%"

It really bothers me. lol

I have some extra-nice rooms for my most important pawns.
They have "JOY" items, like a pool table, and horse shoes.

MY problem is other people going in and pissing the owner off.
I know there is a tedious way to dis-allow pawns, but this should be MORE automatic. (for bedrooms)

EX: This is PAWN X's room, Pawn A to W should stay out unless invited.

EDIT:  Actually, You should add to the "ZONE" system!  Make a zone "private bedroom"  and whoever owns the bed, that is their room.   

Going further, a "dining room" zone, "entertainment zone", ETC ETC

Playing with dev mode, I found a bug!!!

IF you clear out a mine-able area (With deconstruct), you get infinite "roof collapse"

Can you make the roof collapse a little bigger?   I think it is something like 6 from a wall????

Need an order (unless I missed it)

1:  Always cremate enemy
2.  Always cremate deadmans* clothes
3.   Always cremate Spoiled foods
EDIT 4. If I have an empty grave and a crematorium, the game always prefers the grave, I want a way to change that.   a simple right click "haul and burn" is fine by me.


*With regard to "dead people's belongings,  you have it as confusing as possible (ALLOW NON DEADMAN?) in the tools tips.  That should be changed for the dumb and easily confused like me!

1.The little moodlets on the right of the screen NEED scroll box. (See pic for all the clutter)

2. The info displayed in white on the top left needs to be moved and combined with above.
