Slave Outfits finally finished!

Did you have a loyal pawn that do everything you told them and want to pamper them by buying a new cloth? Did your inner slaver triggered when seeing a bunch of prisoner/slave not wearing a same uniform? Gift your hard working pawns the clothes they deserved at last! Or maybe you only want some skirt and dresses in Rimworld.

This is a really basic mod that add some apparel for slaves and prisoners. Generally, these outfits decrease social impacts (because they are lowly slaves) but improve work speed and mental threshold. Use with prison labor and/or slavery mod for best result. What's in there:

1. Ragged clothes that fit prisoners in early colonies. Inspired by ragged clothing in skyrim. Really cheap and fast to make. Improve hard labour work speed, decrease social impact a lot. Cost: 20 and 40 fabrics respectively.

2. Medieval sub-themed tunics along with a coif. Fine tunic (bottom one) doesn't decrease social impact. Created for those that play with medieval mods. This is only 1 piece middle layer clothing though, so sorry if that triggered the medieval enthusiasts here.

3. Factory coveralls for industrial tech. Available in 3 colours if spawned, but since it has fixed recipe, you can only craft totally white coveralls. I suggest to use other apparel colouring mod like change dresser if you don't like it.

4. Of course, victorian maid and butler! The 'lower stair' servants represented by the scullery maid and hall boy uniform, and the 'upper stair' servants represented by house maid and footman uniform. Why no housekeeper/head maid/butler uniform you said? Because these apparels are intended for lowly slaves, and those high class jobs are not for them.

5. And lastly, the space slave uniform used by the off-screen spacer faction! Come with a built-in collar that contain the wearer's ID and GPS. Because it's a bit expensive to produce, not many slavers use this clothing though. The helmet is mainly used by construction workers because it covers the whole face while still allowing sight. More explanation for that in the item description.

Questions!

Q: Why's my female pawn wearing a male's clothing (or vice versa)? D:
A: I apologised for that. I made the apparels according to the body shape, and have no idea at first that females can also spawn with male and hulk body type. I also tried to make a more universal clothing for thin and fat body, but some are simply impossible.

Q: Then why don't you make 2 version of each apparels then? One for female and male.
A: 1st, that means another 40 textures and I have no time for that because real life sucks. 2nd, it's not efficient for the players too. Imagined searching 5 mins for just a male ragged clothing that you just craft in your whole base because some stupid pawn hauled it before you noticed. Also I try not to cluttered the crafting bills too much. 3rd, I just can't stop laughing when I drew hulky dress. Yes I've tried that.

Q: How to craft these outfits? I only find the first ragged dress and the bandana.
A: They are locked behind a research tree in the new "Slave Uniform" research tab, so people can select what they want to use. And a special tailor bench also locked behind the first research. Thats where you craft these clothing. I included the tailor bench in the screenshot, try to spot them.

Q: Will they spawn naturally in the game?
A: Not very often, but yes.

Q: Prisoners won't wear the bandana/helmet! How I can make them wear it??
A: That's vanilla behaviour, and I also have no idea how to force them to.

After Words:

I apologised for the huge images. 800x600 is not really big when displayed outside the browser haha. Thanks for Harry Dicks and his discord people that helped me learn the rope, also all the people in the WIP forum that give me advices too. And sorry no sexy space maid yet, because in the end I decided it's not really fit in this mod. Keep in mind that this mod is meant for people that like to play as prison labor colonies like me. Other recommended mods to use with this: Don't Shave Your Head (or other mod that make hair won't disappear when wearing hat), Change Dresser or other that allow colouring apparel. Did I need to mention Prison Labor and/or Simple Slavery?

I made a spacer slave apparel for my mod, Slave Outfit. Put a <li>spacer</li> on <tags> so they can spawn on spacer pawns naturally, but now every starter pawns from crashlanded scenario wear that thing D:

How do I make it so some apparel only have a certain percentage of spawning?

First note: I found myself making one more mini mod. Small enough to not worth a new thread, like this sombrero mod. So I will change this into a collection thread to avoid spamming. Thank you for bearing with me. Now let's move on to the mods!

1. Slave Outfits

My very first mod that add several tiered very cheap apparels for prisoners and slave. Because we all love our prisoners. Download:
     LUDEON PAGE

2. Sombrero

Add sombrero and poncho that is exactly the same as vanilla cowboy hat and duster, with bonus moustache. Now go beat the cowboys or something. Downloads:

3. Winter Hats

Someone requested me a balaclava mod, so here we are. Add 4 craftable hats for winter: An evil looking balaclava, weird military garrison hat (not in screenshot), cute cat beanie, and comfy thermal earmuffs, and 10 new stylish non-craftable hats! Insulation wise they are *almost* the same as tuque, so its not overpowered and you have more winter variety. Can you find them all ;) ? Downloads:

Slave Outfits is finished! Go here for the downloads!

Use with prison labor and/or slavery mod for best result. Background: I am really disturbed by the fact that there is no dress in the base game nor any mods. There are thriving communities of outlanders and pirates all over the globe, and our super-advanced-spacer-metropolises are so secure that our pampered pawns do not need to take a single step outside when the raiders come. We have silver tiles, jade statues and glass TV on our extremely luxurious rec room, and what do our pawns wear? Old jeans and dusty armor? Not so sophisticated.

I was inspired by Maid Project mod. I was so happy when I found that maid dress mod on steam, but my hope and dream of fluffy cute dress shattered the moment I realised it just basically anime power armour. SO, I decided to make more realistic approach of maid dresses (or in this case, servants).

Edit: This mod already functional as it is, but only contain limited apparels for now. Generally slave outfit decrease social standing but increase work speed.

WHAT'S DONE:

1. Ragged clothes that fit prisoners in early colonies. Inspired by ragged clothing in skyrim. Really cheap and fast to make. Improve hard labour work speed, decrease social impact a lot. Cost: 20 and 40 fabrics respectively.

2. Bandana! Do your house chores more stylishly! Don't go near other people while wearing that dusty rag on your head though, just in case. Improve most indoor activities like cleaning, crafting, and cooking speed but decrease social impact for a bit. Can't blame the trader for mistaking you for a filthy peasant. Cost: 10 fabrics.

3. Factory coveralls for industrial tech. Available in 3 colors in prepare carefully menu, but since it has fixed recipe, you can only craft totally white coveralls :(. I will look into how to make the colors appeared (in random chance of 33%) after you craft them. Another alternative, I can make different bills for each color, but I prefer to keep my tailoring bills not cluttered with 50 apparels from a bunch of mods. Let me know if you are ok with 3 different bills for coverall.

4. Medieval sub-theme from the first tribal tech. Fine tunic (bottom one) doesn't decrease social impact. Created purely for those that play with medieval mods. This is only 1 piece middle layer clothing though, so sorry if that triggered the medieval enthusiasts here  :P Funny story: I showed this pict to my history maniac friend, and got lectured about the real medieval outfits. Apparently it commonly consist of 3 layers (undergarment, tunic, and jacket/cloak/other) and not this ragged and patchy. The medieval people are very good in tailoring. This give me an idea to make another mod for real medieval clothing (not armour) that have separate pieces, so we can have more colourful outfits.

NEXT IN LINE and more questions:

1. Spacer uniforms and another special sub-theme uniforms from industrial era.
2. More headgears that match these uniforms.
3. Uniform workbench. I hate seeing 50+ bill options on vanilla tailoring bench.
4. (Dream/Idea) Make another pawns ACTUALLY have negative opinion with pawn that wear servant outfit, similar to "insulted me" or "harmed me". Because thorough history humans always looked down upon those in the lower classes. I don't even know if it possible to link equipments into social tab. PROGRAMMER PLEASE HELP

Keep in mind that this mod is meant for people that like to play as prison labor colonies like me. I can expand this mod to dresses in general, but I like to finish the main content first. Thanks for reading this until the end lol. Comments and ideas are more than welcome.

fixed the download for the last time. sorry. Finalized the file naming.

Hello, I am an artist and this is my very first mod, and I also pretty new to modding. I can read xml file a bit but have no knowledge in C#.

This mod only add a simple apparel to the game, a dress. I borrowed the texture from Maid Project (I am sorry if thats not allowed.. I will change it later if I can manage to make the mod working). The problem now is the game cannot fine the texture.

This is the xml file. I use other simple apparel mod and the original xml file for reference (tribal wear to be exact).

The error: Could not load UnityEngine.Texture2D at Things/Apparel/BasicMaid/BasicMaid in any active mod or in base resources.
Also said something about missing color code or something.

From what I see from my references and youtube, this kind of mod doesn't need to be compiled using C#... is it?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
