Should be. I'm using a Mac mini with an intel hd 3000. Some lag when zoomed out with 15 colonists and some more lag when large raids happen, but totally playable and enjoyable.

I'd love to see turrets become a mid-late game thing. Add gun emplacements for early game. Better accuracy and reload but takes a guy to man it. Then the ai core could be used to make a turret controller. 4-5 turrets can be controlled by a central "brain".

Started my first alpha8 base (loving the temp changes) and the first raider who shows up is named "Stanky". Pop him a couple of times, one is a headshot, capture the guy and check out his wounds. I had blasted his nose off. Now he has no idea just how Stanky he is.

I'm running off a Mac mini with an intel hd3000.  It works ok. Big raids can get a bit choppy. But if I quit and reload it smooths out a bit.

My first alpha 7 colony, I decided to punish my 2 prisoners that refused to join the colony (99% recruitment difficulty). I cut off both their legs, replaced them with peggs, took one lung and kidney from each of them, then freed them from their prison . I couldn't help but laugh, thinking about what a local tribe or pirate gang would think of my colony if they saw two people with stilts as legs, hobbling away from my colony, cursing about how they took their damn kidneys .

Don't forget to give them dentures and then remove them.

Funniest moment for me.

Just finished dealing with a pirate raid and had a pawn in the hospital getting a leg refit. While he was under a narsty siege happened. First mortar they launch land directly on his head blowing out his eye and dropping his brain to 1hp.

Worst moment.

After a few days of back and forth mortar fire got the siege down to 2 guys. Sent out my commissar (yarrick) to mop up the last severely injured guys. He had power armor, power helmet, power claw, bionic eye and an r4. Got off a few shots all hitting. Pirate returns fire with his pistol. 1 shot to the kidney, dead.
